Is N'Zoth Dragon Paladin viable? Am I onto something? I'm sure Kibler has already played some Dragon paladin but it's not like I've heard of any rank 1 legend hits with it.

Just wondering (as a gamedev). What other TCG's or card games similar to Hearthstone have you played since or before Hearthstone?
Any particular elements or mechanics you miss? Hearthstone is obviously a complete game and adding in another mechanic just randomly wouldn't exactly make it better. But just in theory.

Either way my point still stands. Yogg is an annoying fuccboi and I hate losing games strictly because of a series of beneficial spells for my opponent. There is no way to definitely say exactly how often Yogg is good vs bad without looking at a ton of games, but most players who have analysed data like this have determined that he is more often good than he is bad or neutral. I don't know what the exact ratio is but in my experience every time my opponent plays Yogg they are left better off than when they started, it's very rare that Yogg straight up loses them the game which is why I said him being purely a detriment 40% of the time was a gross overestimate.

You can stay mad if you want, Yoggboi, or you can show some numbers to back up your definitive and conclusive "you're wrong" statement.

So I crafted this deck after pulling a Deathwing, Dragonlord and holy crapoli I've been on a win streak from 20 to 14. One more win will throw me into 13.

I've never progressed past 15 before (I play very casually, just a few games a day and usually with less competitive deck type). Would a Dragon Warrior deck be able to take me to 10? Maybe higher?

How badly would I need to unlock BrM for the Corruptors and Drakonids? I feel like I may need them now that the matches are getting tougher.

It's not about the deck Anon, but the time that you put in. In current meta a majority of decks are good enough to keep a >50% winrates.

You can get rank 20 with 1% win rate, from rank 20 to 5 with 25-50 more wins than losses and than 51% win rate to reach legend. If you put in enough of your time and play enough games the RNG variations become statistically accurate and then the only thing that separates your from legends are your own dumb decisions.

It's simple as that.

not everyone who plays herathstone will actually finish every game. if even 1% of people either concede to go take a shit, their boss calls them so they alt+f4 hearthstone out, or something else comes up IRL that causes them to leave their computer/tablet/phone then that match is a win for you.
so play enough matches, and yes, you only need a 50% winrate against opponents who don't leave, because your winrate against opponents who do makes it so that your total winrate is above 50%, if only marginally.

The data for ranks Legend, 1, 2, and 19 is absolutely worthless because the variance (what I'm guess is the +/- column) is on the same order of magnitude as the estimate itself, meaning there are not enough samples to form a useful conclusion from the data.

The rest of it is pretty high variance too so the data is questionable thought not as bad. This is a neat tool but it really needs to be analyzing a larger sample of games.

That's some fair points. Already I've had some players concede today just a few turns in from I assume people needing to leave, and a few concedes from people who lost their steam I guess and left despite their loss not being guaranteed.

I normally don't ever play as many matches as I have so far this month so it feels like as long as I can dedicate a couple of hours spread over a day, evey day, I should be able continue climbing.

Also this is the longest I've stuck with one deck instead of bouncing around so i guess I'm beginning to really get used to it.
