AA2Install was made specifically so it doesn't rape your HDD. It's a bit unstable but it's generally faster and easier on HDD space. If you get crash because of some plugin .dll just unblock them. You can also post issues on his github page.

aa2install uses a completely different method by "injecting" them, which essentially means that it doesn't require any extra space to install (other than the space that the mod takes up)

Pose fixes are actually scrips that modify the vanilla animations and he gives instructions on how to use them. My guess is all this bullshit is mainly because he doesn't want redistributing of illusion's animations (as well as his own mods, that's why there's no wizzard version). Illusion hit squad is real there.
new poses are already compiled though and the instructions are on how to add them to your game(H_list or H_styles or whatsitsname editing)

My fellow nigger. I worked with animations too and fixed every ported pose for sounds and stuff. Some poses have problems though and I didn't touch them.
Fingering, cunnilingus from cumming position and titjob do not loop correctly and therefore you can't just simply put the usual numbers to "fix" them since the animation will look weird, even though it fixes sound.
Also some positions do not have correct files for small heights and because of that they're fucked. I think futamodder did animations for it, but I can't find them.

the thing is afaik hand position is not exactly tied to the exact boobs size but to the category(flat, med, large) so some sizes work better than others. Same with the nipple licking fix - it ranges from minor hovertongue to full breasteating. Don't think I can do anything about it.
