The problem is plain old punching and kicking makes for a dull kit. Just look at XinZhao, who is a pretty mundane, no-magic fighter: 2 AA-buffing skills and a gap closer. Only flashy skill he has is his ult. It doesn't help that Riot's animations for him are also really dull, you just watch him poke stuff to death with his spear.

So I think you need to come up with a convincing proof of concept for a no-magic punching and kicking character who isn't boring to play or watch.

I took a break of several months and felt like playing again today, so I played several matches, but it's just not fun at all anymore. The league community are the most whiney bitches I have ever seen in an online game. Most games are lost because someone is raging and giving up pre 15 minutes, simply because it's not going perfectly their way right from the start. Then one of them threats other people to report them, because they are not winning their lane.
Fuck league, none of my friends is even playing anymore, it's just a bad habit like smoking at this point

the other problem is, if shes melee she would need some kind of mobilty of some kind, and you'd have to be very careful of her cooldowns. too long and they aren't really much use, other than burst damage, which defeats the purpose. Too short and you run into animation canceling issues, specially with things like hydra equipped. It's why I was thinking of like combo'd abilities. makes it so that animation cancelling doesnt really help stack on the huge damage (so you avoid a problem with another Riven Q type of character) but are able to make decent cooldowns that dont break the flow of the character's combat, or turn them into an auto attack robot

It'd probably be good to make her animations pretty acrobatic to spice things up.

Have a dash that acts similarly to fizz E or gnar leap. You dash forward into a handstand and then bounce forward again the same distance, doing AoE damage at both points (so if you can afford to you can melee with it for extra damage).

A "Leg sweep" that does AoE damage and slows and grounds enemies hit by it.

Make her Q be a "left jab" that instead of being an auto /reset/ just allows you to throw in an extra auto without interupting your normal auto animations. Essentially a targetted ability that does 1.0 AD damage and applies on hit effects that can be used while performing other actions.

The cloth armor seems like a dumb idea. Means that there's little variation possible in play.

Having to be in combat to get your gap closer means you have a problem using it to start fights, which can be an issue.

Having your 'combo's lock out your base skills (using q/w makes w/q do something else) seems clunky.

Make it so that your R is the combo button and R is based off of your last 2-3 moves used (apparently this is how Invoker works in dato), and move the gap closer to something else.

Maybe R could be your gap-closer... if you haven't used anything else to create a combo yet. So using your gapcloser will cost you burst ability, and you have to be able to stay on top of someone in a fight because you won't be able to gap-close again.

I have a funny story about yas, played a game of midlane Cho'Gath against a yas mid. I died twice early due to that bullshit early game cheesing he can do, but then i got some feast stacks and proceeded to steamroll his entire lane. It got to a point where the yasuo started insulting me for playing a no skill champion, which i found rather funny coming from the yasuo "main"
