Does anyone here actually like the Disc gun in Nuclear Throne? All I see is death and misery when I pick up the disc/super disc gun.

Although I wouldn't mind this weekly being a disc gun or super disc gun. It would make it interesting for sure! Maybe even make it cursed so you can't get rid of it until you at least get to a crown vault.

Definitely better. She looks more calm looking and less creepy. She sorta looks like she's making a very slight chuckle. Also this is really nit picky but her ear looks just a BIT cornery on the bottom left of it. Might wanna make it a small smidge rounder. Her left shoulder's a slight amount bit, by maybe a pixel on the of her shoulder arm area. Take everything I said with a grain of salt though, I suck at critique. Face looks vastly improved though for sure.

It's a fun game, good for comfy couch gaming if you have a controller to play it with. Gameplay is simple, and the art is alright (I liked the look of the original better).

Anyone know how to stop Hero&Daughter from crashing constantly? It's fine to start and play, but it randomly crashes for no reason and I lose all my progress.

Not that I can think of aside that RPG Maker games tend to do that a lot with buggy scripting. A couple RPG Maker XP made games I've played even did it. Mostly when you alt+tab out of it or minimize and open it too often. At least that's what caused it with me when I played this. Kinda why I stopped playing it for a while.

Any guesses on what this weekends Nuclear Throne weekly will be? I am getting my hopes up that it will be a disc gun, melting run so I can once again feel a fraction of the pain that was the crown of luck weekly.

If you find the throne hard.
1. Bring a melee
2. Bait the beam. Stand in the middle to do so.
3. don't be bringing ammo intensive weapons to the fight unless they have very high damage, for example the super crossbow is good for the throne fight whereas the triple machinegun is not.
If everything above fails, then I can't help you.

It's pretty funny. Usually even the most hyped RPG Maker games turned out to be pretty good like Yume Nikki. I also seem to really like all the RPG Maker games that have little to no gameplay. The only exception is LISA, but even then the gameplay is pretty basic it's just a bit more prominent than usual and not super easy like say OFF.

It sort of makes me feel bad for all those people making complex RPG Maker games with super intricate combat and systems with all those plugins and beautifully crafted dungeons and sprites that probably take several weeks just to do, and yet some guy can just open RPG Maker 2003 and slap together a game with quirky graphics like Space Funeral and somehow instantly attract more attention from both me and the world at large.

I guess I will add this, I'm not the original poster but it stands to mention.
Throne 1 is good with a high damage weapon and a melee weapon. NEVER USE SEEKER WEAPONS ON THE GENERATORS. You have to be kissing the generators to blow them up.
Throne 2 is about the same but your high damage weapon should be switched for a faster firing weapon unless the weapon you have has fast projectiles or homing projectiles if you want an easier fight. Seeker shotgun is amazing for the cops and the throne itself as the projectiles will eventually hit the throne.

Oh yeah, if you are still having problems with the throne fight get long arms and make sure to grab a melee weapon. Also never stay out of the main hallway for too long otherwise the throne starts to spam the explody balls and I can assure you that you will not have a good time. Last but not least stay close to the throne but keep some distance if you go too far away the throne gets very aggressive and too close and the throne will kill you if it touches you.

There's an extra cutscene with hugo towards
the begginning, and Dedan has a couple different lines, as well as the infamous 'son we have brought into the world' mistranslation

That's how most translations work, really. They have to change in order to fit the language even if it means changing a entire scene or dialog, in order to keep as good as the original. Although I can't say anything because I have not played the French version.
Some translations in Brazil are so shitty, it's better off not even being translated at all. I'll play the Brazillian translated OFF to see if it's close to the english OFF.
