The problem is it kills your zombies. Making more zombies as Damballa ammo requires getting lots of kills, which is the exact opposite of how a boss fight operates.
It also suffers from a bad bug which causes the skill to delete zombies it shouldn't, and zombies deleted this way don't seem to get a resurrection chance the way they normally should.

Any guild can freely pick any team they want. Naturally, the /tosg/ guilds will band together on our side, but I expect unrelated guilds to also be on Team Hauberk.

22650 damage with Targe Smash is my new record. This was on a cloth monsters, which is neutral to strike damage. I only have 30 attribute on Targe Smash.

Recently, I've come to realize that Rodelero is probably the highest damage output in the Swordsman tree. The biggest issue with Swordsman damage is the lack of scaling, and Rodeleros can work around that thanks to the 320% Strike Damage debuffs. My Targe Smash have been doing 3x 12.000 damage, my Shield Bash 2x 10.000 Damage, and my Shooting Stars about 2x 8.000 to 10.000 damage. Those are all around 20~30% attributed. Shield Bash and Shooting Star are getting MASSIVE buffs from KTOS, and Shooting Star will turn into strike, meaning it will do triple damage after the kTOS changes finally hit iTOS.

My point is: It should be possible to make a PvE damage Rodelero. Take my exact build, but replace all DEX with STR and take Dragoon at R7. You will do more damage to monsters, but will lose the means to fight players.

If this were kTOS, Highlander2Rodel3Dragoon could work. My kTOS Templar was Lander2Rodel3, it did less damage overall because he was forced to use 1h Swords, but it had Cartar Stroke doing triple damage added to my rotation, on top of no-cooldown skyliner. And obviously, no Peltasta.

Critting is critical to my damage. The 50% damage from crits is multiplied by the 320% damage buffs, and boosts my damage by a lot. The 50 crit rate from Finestra might not be much, but it's leagues above and beyond anything Pelt2 could offer.

The biggest reason for Hop1 was the 1h Spear attribute. Maga Spear is the perfect weapon for me to use, and let's face it, Spears are just so much better than any available 1h swords.

Playing dungeons and a Tank, I've come to appreciate Peltastas 2 and 3 less and less. Swasubuckling is great, but it's also perfectly possible to aggro and entire room with just Pelt1. You don't need to waste your most important circles with that garbage class that offer nothing but taunt.

Peltasta 2 and 3 are a huge meme.

Also if you have DPS classes that don't hit lock or root the enemies you pulled then tough, pelt 1 does not have enough threat generation that they will disperse before going half health.

More levels in Swashbuckling increase the number of Taunts, but the REAL feacture of Swashbuckling is that the debuff has the secret property of breaking the monster aggro limitation. You just need to Swashbuckle and run around, and every single monster in the room will aggro you as if there was no limit.

By taking Pelt3, you're wasting 2 additional circles just so that you can taunt 10 more monsters, when in reality you just need to swordsman dash around the room and aggro every single monster all the same.

It just raises the potential aggro limit, and the tooltip says this. More levels increases the number of enemies you can hit with the Provoke debuff of Swashbuckling, which can also be resisted. The buff you get gives you a higher cap on aggro than someone without swash would have. But Swashbuckling doesn't suddenly mean existing will put you on the top of the list unless you've hit them with an attempt of the debuff. Swash increases the potential cap, but if you don't actually hit monsters someone will pull it off of you if the provoke debuff isn't on the enemy. And in every single pull, you'll end up with at least one enemy having resisted it.

Swashbuckling is literally only good if the user actually hits things, because pulling enemies off the swordsman is easy as a wizard or cleric. Clerics just have access to Fade, Wizards don't.

In my experience, I've never hit the cap on my Lv5 Swashbuckling. Running the 240 dungeon with Futureproof, I'd enter the rooms, use the skill, and run around until every monster was aggro'd, and that's easily over 30 monsters per room.

Nah, you misunderstand what the cap is. It isn't the number of enemies you can annoy, it's the cap on actual generated aggro. You can run around and facepull those enemies, but what Swashbuckling does is raise how much aggro you can generate. Coupled with the Swordsman attribute which increases generated aggro, the idea is to raise yourself so quickly per hit that no other player in the party stands a chance of pulling off of you without also having Swashbuckling to raise their cap.

For any non-ET scenarios it doesn't matter, stuff melts against a proper party anyway. For ET I guess it might be true, but once we level cap extensions and Rank8 classes, ET will become a fodden dungeon just like every other dungeon, and Lv300+ white recipes will probably have a higher base damage than Lolopanther stuff, making the place useless. Similar to how the Superior Kracked Shooter manages to be better than the Catacombs Shooter, despite being much easier to obtain.

Making ET builds is like trying to make RO builds specifically for farming in Glast Heim. It's the highest content to do right now, but shortly it's just going to become outdated content anyone can do with any build.

Rodel2 brings 100% strike damage and magic tanking abilities. Rodel3 brings the big damage, with an extra +120% strike damage, shooting star, and enough points to max Shield Bash and Targe Smash. Comparing Rodel2 and 3 damage is like comparing Fletcher2 and 3 damage. The damage boost is just too big to ignore, unless you want Rodel2 just for the Magic Evasion.

I believe some Rodel skills don't work while mounted, and taking Cata and not going C3 is an easy way to turn your build into a Good Build. From experience.

Thanks to my CON and DEX, my survivability is pretty high. The kTOS Rodelero buffs aren't just cooldown reductions and damage increases, they added a lot of defense as well.

Shield Charge will block ranged attacks. Slithering will increase block and have a 70% chance to resist all CCs. Placing all bets on Rodelero has paid-off, they've overbuffed us way too much.

Now, if only Shield Charge/Slithering scaled with duration, and the other skill's CCs scaled debuff duration, it would become perfect. Imagine if Lv15 Shield Push applied a 25 second stun, instead of 5(+5 because of the attribute) at all levels. Or 15 second stuns from Montano. It would be even more broken.

I honestly wish I had spent a few less points in Effigy and a few more in zombie stuff. Effigy is great, but it's just not reliable. And the difference between level 10 and level 15 is like, MAYBE 5% more damage? The difference between 15 and 20 zombies is 33% more damage.
