Been playing a bunch of nocturne recently and found that warrior > youmuu > cleaver works nicely. It does leave you squishy but you can delete backline carries who are out of position really easily. Generally you want to itemize cdr and armour pen though.

Everyone knows old vlad was better by far, and the rework was successful in making him not have a bad laning phase. Were people saying he was bad since they were directly comparing to the power old vlad had? Yes and they are correct.
Vlad can go both lanes, not just mid. It doesn't mean he's a mid laner.
Besides, why do you care and why do you keep track? It's quite pointless, it's on the level of saying FNC will put on a good performance at worlds and reach quarter finals(S1-S5) and when they do, you shitpost about it constantly non-stop.

Now to keep it short, Old vlad was better versus release reworked Vlad(damage, healing, CDs you name it). Then he gets the rework buffs as riot always fucking does and he's at the very least good at all points in the game. Welp, this is the first time I've uninstalled this game. I had not a speck of fun at all withing the past 10 games and after losing my promos THEN GOING ALL THE WAY BACK DOWN TO 0LP AND GETTING DEMOTED, I'm done. I played top, maining the fuck out of Garen and Swain. Swain was literally banned every game
I played, and Garen is practically useless with this "every mid laner and even most supports build rylai's" meta. I can't do shit with him anymore, and I carried myself hardcore to plat4 last season with him before they reworked him.
