Why did they kill the leveling completely? I've just rushed from 70 to 80 in like 4 or 5 hrs almost purely on quests and 80 to 83 with only Goldrinn unlocked in Hyjal, not to mention the other day I went 1 to 70, and I'm not even a tank or healer to spam lfg endlessly, only 1 dungeon every 10-15 mins.
This feels so wrong, I may be mistaken on this one, but even in Pandaria exp requirements were not as low as they are right now. It's not even "trivial" - it's complete trash, god damn it.

I was recently banned from FFXIV because I accidentally charged back a monthly payment when my credit card info got stolen. I was told that the only way to unban my account would be to reverse the original charge, something that can't be done since I closed the bank account after the fraud was committed. They refused payment in any other form

I'm looking for a new MMO now, and I was wondering if it's too late in the game to start playing WoW (dying, too hard to catch up, etc.).
Also I'd like to know, if by chance, anyone here has dealt with a chargeback situation with Blizzard, and what happened during it. Was it resolved, or did you meet with a predicament similar to mine?

If you're still wanting to play your old game, you can probably just post about your harrowing experience on Reddit, they'll be sure to unban you to appease the crowds. Assuming the developers browse there, most game devs do for their respective subreddits.

Otherwise, WoW is still fine to get into, although the subs dropped a lot there's still plenty of people there. With cross-realm phasing it's rarely lonely.
It's super easy to get into if that's another worry.

Legion will be a good opportunity to start playing. I would suggest that you at least wait until pre patch (late July or early August), or just wait until legion is out (mid august). You can start right now if you want but it's the very end of the expansion so there isn't a whole lot of raiding or anything to do, besides maybe some pvp. Will be good to get a level cap character or two before legion comes out though. If you are good at making money you can pay your sub with in game gold.

Legion gameplay despite what you've heard is actually decent, they've got strong launch content, but the biggest fucking downfall is class mechanics, as long as class design is shitty, anything they do will always feel weak, the raids are definitely some of the best shit but that piss weak class design for so many specs just sucks the fun straight out.

When I first started playing this game in middle school, my only friend and I decided to make a pair of Tauren and roll together. He had cancer in real life so I picked a warrior to protect him and he played a hunter. Our favorite part of the game was just running around and exploring for cool little spots. Even though there wasn't really anything to find we just loved running around and looking at all the zones, and a lot of time we would just ignore our quests altogether and go run off and get lost together. Our favorite spot though was always this secluded little cliff side area in Mulgore, it was the first spot we ever found. I remember when his cancer started getting really bad and his parents fought a lot, we would always go to that little fucking spot and just sit and talk or just not say anything at all and relax and I would try to take his mind off his life. That was the spot he last logged out in before he died of fucking cancer. Every once in a while I like to take the trek over there like a pilgrimage, no flying mounts, doing it all how we did it back in the day, and I just sit there quietly by myself and think about him or relax if I am dealing with a lot of shit in my life. I like to think that somehow he is still there sitting next to me and that his stupid little hunter pet is keeping him company wherever he is. And yeah, that's my spot. It's been a while since I've been there, I haven't really been playing WoW much lately, but maybe I'll make the trek again soon. Hope he isn't missing me too much.

Llane's death doesn't follow lore exactly, but it was presented well enough that I could let it go.
Anduin+Khadgar vs Medivh was also somewhat different. You'll notice during the movie if you're a lore nerd.
Dalaran is referred to as the city in the sky in the movie, which is based long before they actually told the ground to fuck off. The chamber from the trailer is an actual place in lore, though.

All forgivable imo. I can see it being a pretty good introduction to the Warcraft universe via the game; there's just enough for people who are into high fantasy worlds to get them asking questions and wanting more.

Owners of Tauren paladins; do you regret your choice of race? I'm finally going to make a prot paladin and I'm pretty torn between BE and tauren. BE make more sense and fit the European knightly style of paladin armor more. However I think they look way too flimsy in plate and their 2H animations are awful (if I go ret at some point).
