• Tweaked the animation of Volt’s Speed pickup to spin more.

Changes

• Kela De Thaym can now be hit with Damage procs. Ivara's Prowl augment works against ALL Corpus lasers in their vaults. Gonna test with Grineer lasers next.

The movespeed increase is negligible, rolling is still much faster. I think Loki will still be the fastest spy frame, while augment Ivara is virtually unfailable.

I worship frogbutt and want to cuddle her, Ivara and everything, but the Prowl augment should of been something better. Movement Speed is great, but its just another use to cheese spy, when you obviously do fine without the augment.

So just tested Primal Rage

"Up to 100% bonus crit chance" means up to 100% of base, NOT +100% like I thought
(don't know why I thought that).

Primal Fury has base crit of 25% (according to wiki). This means that the augment's max crit bonus is also 25%, and you need to kill 10 enemies to reach this and this decays every second.

When coupled with True Steel, Primal Fury has a maximum possible crit chance of 65%.

You can see in the webm that despite having 80%+ crit from the augment, I still don't even come close to critting every hit

Is +25% max crit worth the mod slot? Maybe if you like Primal Rage, but I hate melee in general so I'm probably biased. The bigger problem IMO is that modding for Primal Fury spreads you incredibly thin, whereas all Defy requires is duration. From personal experience, Primal Fury's energy drain is also VERY noticeable when coupled with Defy and makes it much harder to sustain

You know what I don't get, when people ask for builds here on /wfg/. I mean sure you might have JUST gotten the frame and you want to mod it. But what do you people do before asking on here? Do you even check the frames abilities? Do you take a moment to try some mods see what is useful for that frame? Did you lose your memory and forgot that there's like a total of only 15 or 20 mods or something frame mods(that are actually useful for frames) that are always, almost always used to build the frame?

I don't get , I really don't. You have a frame, you're not gonna be able to build for all abilities because DE doesn't want to have frames using all abilities so you just use the usual mods to minmax for appropriate abilites.

My problem from this stems from that this is taking away the player experience of experimenting but whatever I'm gonna go sleep anyway but I'll give my final thoughts.

I don't think new players should bother asking for builds here and should experiment on their own. By the time it matters they've probably gained friends or joined a clan they can ask for help in before that. Otherwise giving builds to players for optimal or guideline purposes seems like it's taking the fun out of it IMO.

There's a bit of a difference between an experienced player and a veteren imo(player that's played for a long time). I'd imagine any experienced player being able to rationally make a good optimal build. While a veteren would know how to take it one step further and make the builds completely optimal for certain abilities/playstyles. Both probably would've joined a clan or something and could've gotten help from both aswell.
