I saw D1 at a Gamestop in SoCal yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

K me and friend are arguing about whether or not Marth is easy to play.

I'm the Marth main, and hes not. I'm not even trying to suggest that Marth is hard but he definitely isnt brain dead.

I'm not looking for validation but honestly what is the general consensus here?

Lucina is Easy mode Marth. Roy is Normal mode Marth. Marth is Hard Mode Marth.
With Lucina, you don't give a shit about space. You just hit them with your sword.
With Roy, you have to put a little bit of effort into not hitting with the tip, because it's shit. Him needing to be closer also makes it a bit more riskier.
Marth needs to control his distance far more than the other two, to get as many tips as he can, for the damage and the kill

There's nothing challenging about the character. With everyone, you should be spacing your moves to max range to increase their safety. That's the only thing you have to do well with Marth, and he gets extra rewards from doing it. He's not easy in the sense where you can pick up the controller and mash your face into it or have a seizure on the C stick but there's nothing especially difficult to playing Marth compared to any other character.
