Any other Tf2 soldiers starting to feel like Pharah got the shaft here? I've had ups and downs with her and at this point I'm doing pretty good but not nearly as much impact as when I'm playing tracer. Biggest issue is the shit knock back on her rockets I think. Also tracers can teleport and reverse time which just feels like a big fuck you to Pharah especially for some reason.

I just got 1000G and I don't know what legendary skin to get. My most played heroes are D.VA, Mercy, Symmetra, Pharah, and Mei. I already have a good legendary for Pharah (Raindancer), and I have skins I like for the rest. I don't now, man. Pharah is fine, it's just the Soldier was in a different game, where you shot three rockets at someone and they died and that mattered. Now you shoot three rockets at someone and they use their abilities to give themselves a shield or heal or jump away or whatever, and if you kill them it doesn't really matter because they'll just respawn and press Q and kill half your team. Plus instead of the fattest guy you'll probably be shooting is a 300 health overhealed soldier, which is tough but not impossible to focus down, now you're fighting a Roadhog with a Lucio sound shield on and he has 1300 health and you'd have to hit with 10 fucking rockets to do anything, so you might as well not shoot him and go fuck off.

Gun is great when you get used to it's projectiles, great for shooting down corridors to annoy someone who walks through, but also good dps when things get hectic.
Learn to skate, that is stay on a wall and keep jumping for boosts, learn to skate around pillars on various capture zones - you can keep shit in overtime for a minute before they actually bother to look up
Ult is the very definition of situational - use it when someone like enemy genji deploys their ult to give your team some room to breathe without getting insta owned
Your existence is valuable, it's great to start the game with a speed boost, switch to healing in the mid, and then switch based on if you want to help teammates flank, or you need to run back
stay close to all your mates

Pharah is not as retard friendly as Mcroo, Soldier, Reaper, etc. Her damage is kinda shit unless it's a direct hit and a good sniper will shoot you out of the sky even if you mostly stay on the ground and use the jump jets as a juke / sneak / reposition.

She's really fun though and can do great damage if you can land direct hits.

This kind of stat is kind of meaningless without a bunch of other stats attached to it to give it context. There's probably a situation where you are very good at jumping on a point, hitting 6 rockets and capping the point, then doing the same to the next point, ending the game. 12 direct hit rockets, all hitting important targets that let you complete the objective. Meanwhile in another game some other player spends 12 rockets just trying to kill a Roadhog that keeps sniffing glue for 15 minutes of Overtime. Now your average goes way up because you have 70 direct hits or whatever but they were completely useless.
