Quests in WoW are so shit. I wish they were more like the ones in runescape. You actually feel like you're playing a character with interactive chat with multiple dialogue options, they have puzzles which make them more engaging then "kill 10 enemies" or "collect 6 herbs". Of course there's always the problem that people will just look up how to do quests like that but it can't be helped, and it would still be more fun then WoW quests. There's nothing fun or interesting about reading a long dialogue box, doing some mundane task, and turning it in. Unfortunately WoW has been around so long and is so big I don't think they'll ever rework the thousands of existing quests.

The problem is that RuneScape's quest system works more as storyline progression and has several arcs which feels more organic. In WoW you're just pushed along from menial task to menial task, only to become the hero at the end of the expansion and eventually pushed back into menial tasks for the beginning of the next expansion.

I'm a shitter that wants to get these heirloom trinkets from mythic dungeons. I simply can't meet the 720+ requirements to join pugs and I figure I'm better off forming my own so people can't bully and kick me.

What do I need to know? I'm an okay player but I've never done a mythic dungeon, and the requirements people give for them I fear they've got shit akin to heroic/mythic raiding involved. I just want to be prepared. Can anyone offer some advice on how I set up groups for these, what I should know to successfully complete them, and any other useful info? I'm at a loss here.

And there's no "elitist" frame of mind I assure you, you can be in WoD questing greens, groups like that are made for gearing, there's no requirement besides being level 100.

Honestly, I assume that they are doing this for some dragonhero reason and intend to fix everything by playing with the stat template in pvp.

I've just been doing arena so I can't vouch for the bg studiness but passive self healing from VT if talented and artifact upgraded is ludicrous unless the healer wants to spend 80% of their time horrified they're not dispelling that shit and you auto refresh with void bolt without having to hardcast which means the second you land one you have steady stream of healing so assuming you have a healer as well you stack a constant absorb if you artifact to the right things in the beginning, combined with a talentable pseudo DP but much better or drastically reducing VE cd so it becomes a 1 minute cd survivability didn't really appear to be a concern for me. Although PS is weaker with the cooldown, MC and PS being baseline with talentable mind bomb is a decent toolkit in comparison to live, its not as good because it'll DR obviously because its not a horrify but that couldn't remain in game because it was too strong to have it not be a stun because you could execute ridiculous cc chains.

Arms is decent, I'd put it under 4.3 and 5.4 but above any other iterations of the spec, the cleave interaction and talent tree is really good and you get pretty flush with rage compared to WoD and focused rage becomes that heroic strike kind of rage dump we're used to.

apply to the right groups is the main thing I guess, if you're feeling undergeared then make sure you join groups that are just starting and only have very few members and wait for them to build, if you only join full or nearly full groups chances are there'll be better applicants
