Because the PS vita is very similar to the PS4/PC which means that making AAA games on it costs nearly as much. The vita simply didn't catch on with people because nobody wants to play games like that on a handheld, yet they still are incredibly expensive to produce. Niche games like DRPGs are dirt cheap to make and don't need to sell nearly as much to make some profit. Also bei having lots of them on the system people bought it who are interested in exactly that type of games which means that they actually sell quite well on vita.

Oh I know, and to be honest, that's one of the things I hate about Cold Steel (and any other video game that does this). Like what's the point of giving you the "freedom" of choice when there's one girl that is forced onto you, and a shitty one at that? At least with something like Persona 4, they give the other girls some moments that are comparable to that of the main girl's (e.g. spending time with Naoto during Christmas Eve vs. your various interactions with Rise).

Alisa's cute, but she's a shitty tsundere. She only gets better in the later chapters, but by that point, I was already tired of her antics. And her dere side wasn't enough to change my mind (a case of being too little, too late).

Huh. I've always thought that the one in the Lovers Arcana is the main love interest (i.e. Lisa from P2, Yukari from P3).

Also, I'd much rather have a clingy bitch rather than the half-assed tsundere attitude of Alisa. Compared to the other characters, who didn't even get a ton of development, Falcom fucked up Alisa's characterization. She could have been more, but alas, she turned out to be an example of a bad tsundere.

I think that lovers is the developers pick but not the canonical pick. P3 seems to give MC+Yukari more attention in the main story then any other pairing (and promotional art puts them together), likewise Rise seems to be the most fleshed out member of the p4 cast. But if there had to be a canon it'd probably be the Aeon arcana girls, aigis and marie

and Marie is completely ignorable in golden besides poems, which has no romantic meaning. If you are thinking of the non canon golden anime where they shoe horn marie into scenes she was never in then sure, but that piece of garbage isn't canon and entirely bad.

In both P3 and P4 I had the MC date a non-SEES/Investigation Team member. I figured they would/should date a "normal" girl so as to stabilize themselves to the normal, real world. It makes sense, you need something to ground yourself. For Minato, his stablizer was Yuko, for Yu, I made Yumi his. I'm not sure why. I guess I just like 5head girls.
