It's a game without any way to discern rank so I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

Me and 5 friends just all go solider 76 and there really isn't much the enemy can do lol. We all co-ordinate (via voice) who to shoot while all spam-healing on the point. We've done this for at least 15 games now.

Winston can't deal with it because we shred his shield too fast.

Reinhardt is a pain, but focus fire shreds his shield fast as heck and while he retreats to regen his shield you just kill his family.

6-man 76 works because he's good damage at all ranges and can heal himself and his team mates. If all 76s press E, no ones dying.

6 Soldiers isn't even close to what's the most cancer hero stacking. If you win it's probably because the shielders are just shielding nothing or jumping in alone. Soldier is beatable by any character with a discernible burst with helix down. Even Mercy can give the average Soldier a hard time if the Soldier doesn't have helix up.

Soldier 76 is the recommended starter character, he basically plays like a typical FPS character and his ult is a magical autoaim thing where you'll hit everything you can see.

Disagree. It has an annoyingly massive radius to it. If you launch it at a group in a corridor, or around a control point, especially if they're distracted by your allies, it can do massive damage.

That last one, I have that. It's not bugged, at least not on PC.

I see Symmetra quite a lot as well (again, PC) and once you see her, she'll have put down at least 3 somewhere. It's just a case of getting them before your teammates. It's really not hard thorugh the course of a match. I got it without even trying.

Top tips for playing the Indian beauty P1:

Here's an example:
Red in the image show places you can put the sentries that will successfully slow most characters without them knowing they're there until they're already being slowed at least once.
Blue is where you should be placing sentries depending on the way you're falling back, on the way to set up on the point, because them being destroyed shows enemy flankers. (There's another point under the bridge where you can put a sentry on the ground behind a bag of sand(?))

• Sentries are not always for killing players
Sometimes you can set a single one up just to scout whether someone has went through a specific area. It's not always a good idea as 6 sentries are sometimes not enough on certain points.

• Walls and ceilings are not always good
Placing them on the ground not only tricks some people because it's even more unexpected, but also sometimes allows angle leverage or hiding positions.

• All in one spot is truly poo in the loo
Trying to garner straight kills as Symmetra rarely ever works, and only against retards. Using them primarily to slow on clutch positions is most important.

• Force angles so enemies come out of cover
Obviously you don't want your sentries to be in plain view of someone when they are in cover, because they can destroy them easily. But you want to place them so these people don't see it even when they stutter-step around.

• Look to place your sentries initially behind certain objects
If you can place them inside of things that get destroyed or knocked about like cardboard boxes (like in Hollywood), do it. People can't see them at all until they're being hit already.

• Be aggressive but choose your battles
Go in on multiple enemies when your team goes in. Try to stay close but on the side or behind enemies at all times. If you're ever in melee range of an enemy, use your primary, even if it's a Reaper or McCree. John Cena.

P2 friends:

• Always shoot your secondary
Your secondary fire is incredibly damaging and shreds through barely mobile characters like Reinhardt and a shooting D.Va. Always shoot at the sides of walls to punish stutter-stepping, which is your biggest enemy.

• You don't always need to fully charge
Shooting constant middle charges can trick enemies and think they're a lot more damaging than they are. They're still relatively strong though, and can still really hurt. Plus, more 50% might hit more often.

• Always keep an eye on the deaths
Make sure you know who needs to receive shields immediately, don't let them skip past you.

• Your teleporter is not your #1 priority
Place it when you get the opportunity - like when enemies are dead - but never go out of fights or potential important battles to do it. Think of the position before you go.

• NEVER over-defend your portal
Any heroes that can flank around and destroy the portal probably will. One or two sentries can deter them, but ultimately if you place all of them, it's likely they'll be destroyed anyway.

• STOP PLAYING SYMMETRA
If your sentries are destroyed faster than you can replace them, the enemy team is probably too privy to your plays. If you're being pushed to the control point too quick, switch when you die. Symmetra only has the power to work well with team synergy when it comes to mass-defence, and sentries being found and constantly destroyed renders you completely useless after the half-way point. There's nothing worse than being a Symmetra who has nothing to do but shield people and die in her only useful position - melee range - on the point

If you're new to her, try aiming where they're going, not where they're at. Know when to blast people away from team mates and when not to. Don't ult if you have really low health or there's a widow maker trained on you unless you know you can get it out. Tap jet pack repeatedly for best horizontal movement. Also, sometimes playing her closer to the ground than way up high can throw people off, unless they have a roadhog.

I personally feel that you shouldn't be too focused on repairing the turrent. It's a fast to build so you should definetly roam a bit with Torbjörn. The only time I stay with the turrent for longer times is when I have ult and I feel like the opponents are going to rush us soon.

The turret is better used to annoy and keep back squishy characters rather than a killing machine like bastion is when he becomes a turret.

I play both Tracer and Pharah and have been killed by a direct rocket as Tracer on full health. You're best bet is to play a little higher up for these two. Tracer is more effective up close and Lucio can't really hit you well up in the air, easier to dodge his shots. If they're after your team, don't shy away from concussive blasting them the fuck away for a bit. Tracer will recall off a ledge if she's smart and most lucios can't skate up walls for shit. If you see tracer recall immediately look for where she was 3 seconds ago and either blast or push her away. In time you'll learn Pharah inside and out. She was my first hero. Just practice.

On Hollywood: Defend, Put them in between the shrubs next to the payload.
In the image this was the beta map where the shrubs were different so I fixed it up to look like current. Red dots is where you can place them.
Unless the enemy directly dies to them they won't really notice. Usually they're destroyed because an enemy witnessed an ally get zapped, or splash damage. They blend in quite well but have a smaller FOV.
Also on Checkpoint Giltribar, the main ramp the Attackers come down from, you can usually hide 1 or 2 on the left and right just below the small ledge dropoffs.
Naturally people catch on, but it buys time.
