as someone with bad phone lines, this game really is terrible when i lag

movement doesn't just stutter, it regularly stops, and can't be fixed. it's absolutely horrible. is this a problem with the incredibly low tickrate? because this has never been such a huge issue in other games. even when i lag in other games it's not forcing me to stop moving while im holding a button down. it'd stutter, but not entirely fucking stop.

Should Pharah be buffed? I dunno if the current meta of Widowmaker/McCree/S76 is just making her seem like complete fucking doodoo, but it seems silly to me how squishy she is, how hot garbage her dps is, and how virtually worthless her ult is.

She just seems underwhelming. She got nerfed back in closed beta and I think it was way too early to throw around nerfs because it made her pretty meh.

What she could really use is more survivability. Damage clearly isn't the name of the game with her because literally every offense hero has higher dps than her, as do some defense heroes. So the least she could get is a buff to her tankiness.

>100 health, 100 armor so that she isn't ripped to shreds by hitscan classes clicking on her from a mile away (s76 in particular)

So last night my friends and I went triple Mei on Nepal and Illios. We were 3 Meis, Lucio, McCree, and Hanzo then Reaper.

Anyway we won both matches 2-0 with 100%-0% each round. Got an achievement and invented a new meita.

I recommend trying it, we had a lot of fun and while I'm sure at the higher elos it won't work as well it was pretty effective. You can spam walls, lots of iceblocks, snipe pretty well, and chain ults as needed. Watching enemies run from one Mei's frost gun right into another and getting double headshot is ameizing.

Pharah currently shares the same health pool as:

>Genji, who is extremely mobile and has an E that keeps him from being shot by almost every single weapon in the game
>Hanzo, who also doesn't have much mobility and has little survivability
>Junkrat, who can conc mine out of nasty situations
>Lucio, who is extremely mobile or is constantly being healed, or both if he's good at switching back and forth at the right times
>McCree, who also lacks survivability but also has an on command stun and the highest dps in the game
>Mercy, who has a heal over time and is always around teammates
>Soldier 76 who has an on command heal station and high mobility (sprint)

So what the fuck does Pharah have that rationalizes that shitty health pool or increases her survivability when almost every other 200 hp hero has something to provide sustainability? Her damage isn't that great unless every single shot you land is a direct, her horizontal mobility is garbage and her verticality just puts her in a bad position 90% of the time.

She really needs to be able to take more hits.

Top tips to play Junkrat:

He's not a defence character, you can play him on attack and reap.
Never stop spamming bombs at places you think people might be unless there's a direct threat.
Always stay near your trap and on the edge of a control point, never on it unless necessary
Your ultimate climbs walls, and doing so can catch people (note: TURRETS) off-guard

How queue times are like a minute long, but I can't be arsed to stare at a blank screen that long when I could just tab into 4chan or whatever. And then when my game is found, there is no alert. Normally the tab is suposed to light up and flash when you get a message or when something important like a game is found happens. But not with Overwatch.

So I get kicked from the game for not picking a hero in 30 seconds. Does that count against me at all?

The only thing that affects filesize is bitrate. If you scale it down, though, or decrease the framerate, you can make it look cleaner. You make your bitrate count for more in terms of clarity versus more/bigger frames.

I'll say this, on some of the Open maps, you get can get rocked doing the air route. But look for choke points, and look for areas with high ceilings and ledges with short approaches to them. My least favorite for this is probably Route 66, in most parts, because you get sniped 10 miles away.

But consider evasive moves in the air, shorter hops, coasting from ledges, etc. Also, I love popping over a shielded Reinhardt, spinning around, and dropping my load on him (no homo).

It IS map contextual, to be sure, but you can do work in the air, son. Just keep at it. Also, alternate your knockback shot with rockets to keep kids scattered, off balance, etc, while you're overhead.

When you work in networking, you dont simply put 20hz to 60hz with a single command and presume everything will be okay.

You have to fix the server protocols to make sure it can handle it, give the correct information etc.

Seriously, just go into a custom lobby and start up 60hz mode. You will get a bunch of errors showing up because they haven't finished fixing the server to handle it.

Something tells me that you play csgo and believe typing 128 tick in console magically makes a server 128 tick.
