It has an extremely large range, so your best hope is that your initial spacing is good enough so you can roll spam backwards to just barely avoid it. Don't infuse the bandit's knife with sharp, it actually loses AR.

Don't infuse it with blood, either. Rouge is always better than blood infusion.

Bandit's knife works well as hollow on a luck build, but otherwise is best uninfused.

Let's say I want to use Curved Greatswords with high dex rather than quality to break the monotony. I understand that Exile is better for the latter, but would Kumo or Carthus be superior for dex? Wikidot doesn't have +10 sharp scaling listed yet.

The subtle options and overall range of gestures is one thing, but I think what makes it the best is the fact that there's no text function in DaS. You legitimately have to act the part or plan a whole encounter around the environment, dress and behavior of the participants. Seriously just blowing the fuck out of anything an MMO could front. Just have an unfair amount of extra HP and ignoring the fact that you have multiple equipment slots and equip weght to deal with.

He's not even bad considering he's using shitty weapons, and he would be able to win without resorting to scum tactics.
He wins some duels with less than 200 or so HP which he would've lost if he wasn't embered.
