When I'm doing free-for-all invasions as a red or a purple I prefer to make a game of it and play with everyone involved before going for a kill. Sometimes I just go in and spook people from around corners a bunch then crystal out. It's a nice break from the usual PvP fuckery.

So after getting completely obliterated in PvP last night, I've come to two conclusions.

One, I really blow at this.
Two, spellsword builds seem like the coolest thing ever, tons of ways to attack in every situation, seems like a lot of fun.

I wanna know what kinds of weapons complement a mage or pyromancer, and some tips regarding spells and pyromancies. I'm talking aside from just normal infused weapons, like the Moonlight Greatsword or stuff like Immolation Tinder that double as casting tools.

Lastly, similarly to weapons, is there a tier list for spells/pyromancies/miracles anywhere?

Everyone blows in PvP at first. I still blow in PvP, I can only waste people on my same dickblow level.

Getting gud seems to be more than just using meta gear but also learning how to be unpredictable and exploit all of your tools (melee, ranged finish, switching up your timing).
