Is there an AR code to activate the Legendary Tamer quest, or at least the "has used WiFi" flag, in Digimon World Dusk/Dawn? I've made a huge fucking mistake and I can't find one for the life of me and I'm starting to believe one doesn't actually exist. It takes me 72 digimon, two Gold disks, and a silver disk to get a level 50 Vajramon.

I need 5 so 360 digimon, 10 gold disks, and 5 silver.

Then I need to level up some blues to evolve them, then i need some fodder to level up.

This is gonna take over 1000 materials I think(I'm lazy)

If that one anon from a couple threads ago who was curious about my weird randomly resetting V-pet is still here, I have good news and bad news.
Good news is that Piyomon evolved into Monochromon a couple days ago and everything was looking pretty good. I figured the problem had fixed itself since nothing weird had happened. Bad news is I spoke too soon, because it randomly reset again about 20 minutes ago when I went to clean her poop.

I opened it up this time and it looks like there's some battery acid on the contacts, nothing too major but I'm going to get some rubbing alcohol and clean it as best I can. Hopefully that sorts it out because if it doesn't then it probably means something is wrong with the board itself. I'm staying optimistic though. I got a V1 in the mail a couple days ago and my V3 is still kicking so all is not lost.

Do any of you play the Digimon TCG? I've never really played a TCG before and my roommate who plays magic really wants to play card games with me but I have no interest in MTG. I figured I could pick up some Digimon cards but I have no idea if it'd be easy or affordable to build a decent deck for 2 players. I know there's some affordable 2 player packs on ebay but I'd like to have a more varied deck than that. Also is it possible to play with mixed English/Japanese cards? I remember kids having a bunch of Japanese cards mixed in with their Pokemon decks when I was younger but I don't know if they actually used them. The backs to the English cards are kinda ugly is all.

I did it guys I finally beat Cyber Sleuth. That ending man. Now I know what you guys meant by the timeline stuff. Though after beating it I can say it's more of a split as apposed to a full on reset. At least for the human world. I can honestly see a CS 2 being made.

The X Antibody Digimon were created for Hyper Colosseum cards and the Pendulum X Vpets. Those have long since ended so there is no real reason to make X Antibody Digimon again. It's sadly one of the gimmicks they abandoned like armours, spirits, etc. I Although technically Re:Digitize gave us the newest X Antibody, BlackWarGreymon X and they show up in things from time to time. It bugs me so much how a lot of pairings of Digimon didn't get upgraded, like only half the Royal Knights and only Guilmon and not any other Tamer Digimon and etc.

One of the designers of the more mechanical X Antibody Digimon like Omegamon, Dukemon and Magnamon, etc. went on to help design RustTyrannomon with Kenji Watanabe though so at least the aesthetic survives with him. It was never confirmed but I think Jesmon and Mastemon were partly designed by him too because they look so similar to X Antibody Digimon.

I feel like Omegamon Zwart Alter-B is supposed to be "spiritual successor" to the X Antibody Digimon too.

Also there actually is an X Antibody Angemon at the Ultimate level, Clavis Angemon. Patamon's Miracle Armour form got an X Antibody too, as well as Tokomon. It bugs me how they didn't fill out the entire line though.

Oh fuck me I just realized I accidentally resized that image somehow so you can't make any detail out. Hopefully you guys know what I mean anyways. Basically the small crystals and detail are from the X Antibody style.

I might be rambling at this point, but Tailmon's X Antibody line bothers me so much. They just needed to make an Angewomon and it would have been complete. Plotmon and Holydramon were designed by Naoya who barely changed their designs. Tailmon is different enough but because Nefertimon was created by As'maria it looks so much different. Tailmon literally loses a Tail. At least it's well designed though and has that mecha detail the others have. But they didn't bother making a Pegasmon X Antibody or many of Patamon's forms so it still bothers me.

I always have a digi tab open, If I didnt reply right away was because I was away from my computer, asleep in this case.

Its both very easy and quite difficult, the rules as bandai wrote them and as you will find them online and printed on the 2player pack if you buy them seem easy enough, then you play the game and are assaulted by a lot of questions that the rules never explain.
But when you finally after a lot of reading and rereading and playing alone to see what makes sense and doesnt, figure things out then it becomes easy again and a lot of fun

They will seem hard to understand at first it took me many readings to finally get the game, I only disagree with one thing that guy wrote and is about banning the onviously broken cards, I found it to be much better to just modify the effect slightly, that way the card is still good and worth using and doesnt centralize and break the game.
But looking back those articles are overly verbose, now that I really understand the game I could sum up everything is 1/10 of the lenght of those articles.

Well the reason is that the game was a failure on arrival, bandai expected a big hit like the pokemon TCG thats why there are SO SO MANY starter packs and why they are so cheap
But right away it was obvious tha game had failed, mostly due to what I told you before about the rules, no one knew how to play the fucking game and arguments ensued between players, also people preferred to keep playing magic, pokemon and YGO
Therefore subsequent boosters packs were printed in lower and lower quantitiesto the point that booster 6 packs can get ridiculously expensive
The cards all received a redesign for the booster 3 and onwards all cards without the redesign are cheaper and completing a collection of the old looking cards (starter1, booster1 and booster 2) is not that difficult or expensive, I got lucky and found some bargains, thats basically what my collection si comprised of at the moment with a few promos too.

Maybe I could write the rules down, sounds like I good idea, the biggest problems are when do option cards stop having an effect and then a few pointers here and there to clarify other things, it would be long at all.

If you buy the 2 player starter pack and then plan to get later cards to make your deck stronger I reccomend option eater, power freeze and even steven, they are booster 1 cards so you can find them cheap too, pretty much every deck needs those cards.
For the japanese game Id have to read more about it to really remember it all, it seems like a similar game on the surface but the actual game is quite different, I dont think the Japanese game is superior in everything though, I really like the no duplicate cards rule of digibattle

Rarity > evolution levels. For example, hakase agumon is a total shitwrecker compared with quite a few ultimates and even a few megas.

As for raising rookies, some of them have really high rarity evolutions that cannot be obtained from the gacha or from battles

There is a site that has a simulator of the game so people can play online but its deeply flawed to use with digibattle as it was made to play MTG.
Other than that there is skype I guess, Im lucky I can play matches with my brother sometimes.

For the japanese cards I guess the digimon card could work if you know the translation of what they digivolve from and of the effects english cards also have and then ignoring all of the other effects that are japan only, and to play them with the other english cards in your deck you could place an english card on the back of the japanese card´s sleeve.
I have an assortment of japanese cards too and had never thought about it so thanks for the idea.

The only Adventure partner Digimon I could find that's even been canonically labelled as a Virus was Tentomon, but that was on a card from 2002.

Mimi's infectious as a person anyway so it suits her. She also has that particularly cruel side to her when she gets absolute power, but that rarely happens.
