I'm shitting on the shitty hordes of enemey-tier encounters, the repetitive and dull snakes that the developers never really even attempt to organise in a progression base way.

The fact that a pig is the domineering final challenge before the boss is pretty laughable.

Even with the interesting use of shortcuts, the level itself is visually dull and mucky, the best part was the small pool at the bottom near the kin, with the interesting visual appearance.

The rest of it was just uninteresting to go through.

The snake head exploders were also really not very fun.

The shortcut back to the central yharnam part is nice, but it's not like it hasn't been done better before, and it's really praised more because Bloodborne has like 2 major noteworthy interconnections, that, and Yahar'gul - old yharnam, everything is far too centred around cathedral ward.

By comparison, you could get to new londo through a large amount of different routes, sending you back to the firelink shrine.

You can get plenty of summons at sully, princes, SoC, Dancer and Nameless.

Armor is frequent but less common, you don't get good hosts at it. Aldrich is easy too since no one likes to leave signs for him.
If you want to fuck around, try wyvern or yhorm.

Also, if you're only doing this for medals, just invade post pontiff, the odds are stacked in your favor.

And most weapons. There's a few weapons you'll need the knight's ring to one-hand, or simply can't one hand at all. That's mostly limited to greataxes and greathammers. Also the FUGS.

And you can't use the MLGS, the Demon's Greataxe, Morne's Greathammer, or Crystal Sage Rapier due to their int/fai requirements.

Of course, you can just drop VIT a bit to get extra points so you can literally use every weapon. I just like the vit so I can wear whatever I want.

Or I can use a hollow off-hand and use anri's sword to full scaling.

The hollow infusions are good for all bleed/poison weapons really. It's also good for katana's.

It's not necessary, I just like it.

If you'd rather not use hollow, you can save points there as well.

That's just how I build my 142 because it gives me a wide range of things that I enjoy using.

Here's another comparison, Eleanora is always outclassed by the butcher's knife. Butcher's knife does more damage at a longer range for less investment. Only weighs .5 more, and has a better weapon art considering you'll never proc eleanora's feasting bell bleed in PvP.

Completely and utterly outclassed.

I'm not. I'm telling you that Eleonora is perfectly viable and that you need to git gud. It's that simple. All you're doing is autismally comparing stats and numbers. Eleonora isn't so much inferior to equivalent axes that it's not worth using. The WA alone helps to justify it. But I bet you didn't realize that Feast Bell is an AOE Bleed Buff for you and all nearby allies that fucking wrecks bosses in co-op or invaders in pvp.

Strictly speaking, it's among the worst of a weapon class that's already subpar.

The feasting bell does affect party members, but in PvP it's all but useless. If you're invading, you're not likely to have more than one ally and you're still not going to proc the bleed unless your ally is using a bleed weapon. And then, they'd already likely proc the bleed without your help. If you're ganking, you're already ganking. In 1v1's, it's pure trash.

It's not a good weapon. I use it, and it's fun, but I'm not going to try to convince people that it's something it's not.
