Overwatch is TF2 with more bullshit.
Scout can kill anyone in the game from full health within the span of a second, and he has the ability to teleport across half the map, then teleport back with his health/ammo restored to full.
It makes getting picks super-easy and is what essentially makes Lucio the only viable support.

I remember back when I had the 360 version, I had configured a mouse and keyboard as my control scheme by using this thing my friend let me borrow that he had used on his that he ordered off the internet.
Honestly the freedom of movement the mouse gives you just blows others out of the water when playing against others who are using controllers.
Also I was essentially the one of like a handful of people who could do voice commands other than call for a med because of where it asked for the 360 keypad.

Packaging is great but who tf cares
There are 2 trigger buttons on each shoulder and the 'undertrigger' which means you can have all 4 fingers and thumbs working on something at the same time, but it feels like I won't be doing that often. It's more comfortable in the way you'd hold a ps2 controller, your trigger fingers feel pretty natural on the bottom triggers but the top shoulders aren't as easy to jump to. The top shoulder buttons feel like the most problematic part, they take a little more work to click.
Appears to be only wireless, can't tell if that will affect anything.
I doubt it will be good for TF2 but I've been excited to tweak it for FTL, New Vegas & some of the older games I have
It feels worth the hats I traded to get it, and it feels worth the $40 you'll spend with the sale going.

Not him, but I got one in the first wave. The haptic feedback is pretty nice, the touchpads are very responsive. You can make it feel like a bunch of different things but it still lacks the absolute certainty of a digital d-pad.
I played quite a lot of Dark Souls 3, Final Fantasy 3, and other games with it. Keyboard movement was inferior to the movement stick in Dark Souls 3, so for a while while I was unused to the touchpad for looking I bound the controller funky and used the mouse in one hand and the steam controller in the other.

You can plug the charging cable in and play sans batteries there.
The only problem I really had was the batteries tend to get stuck in the sockets and it's nearly impossible to finagle them out. I ended up looping a string behind the batteries so I could pull on that and get em out easily.
It was worth the killstreak kits I sold, that's for sure.

Don't know what you mean by true center thing, but you can increase the deadzone in the center if you find yourself pressing too close to the center. Usually when I'm doing d-pad I generally set it to only actually click when I press the button in. The indentation on the left trackpad makes it hard to get lost, so I doubt you'd want to put a nub in
