I feel really fucking lost. I'm a 698 prot paladin but I'm nowhere near the fucking haste cap. I feel that I'm really squishy in LFR HFC, and yet the gear from their is all shit compared to what I have. What am I supposed to do? I want better gear, but to get it I'd have to do normal HFC and up which would undoubtedly be even harder for me considering how squishy I feel.

Make sure you have Sacred Shield up at all times

Divine Purpose will generally provide more defensive benefit than Sanctified Wrath

Divine Protection is on a very short CD, take advantage of that. If you know that the boss is about to hit you hard, pop it. If Shield of the Righteous falls off, you won't be able to reapply it in the next 2 GCDs, and are the active tank, pop it.

Don't use Word of Glory unless the next couple of attacks will kill you; you take less damage while your AM is up, which makes healing you easier

Pool Holy Power while the other tank is tanking. Don't cast Shield of the Righteous unless you have 5 Holy Power and you have a Holy Power generator up if the boss isn't attacking you

Don't be afraid to use your other CDs, you have them for a reason

Don't worry about Haste cap, realistically you won't be hitting it until you are in late-Heroic early-Mythic gear. I, personally, prefer Seraphim to Holy Shield as a level 100 talent (which has a lower Haste cap, still not worth worrying about at this point), but it's not worth using if you aren't going to cast it on CD. Empowered Seals exists, but it's generally not going to be as strong as the other two options.

It is, it will take some time though so you have to be prepared for that. 2pc is generally quite a bit easier to manage than 4pc, just because Korm, Gore and even Soc are really accessible even if you're not that well geared but getting either Xhul or Manny requires a not shit pug. But yeah I did it over a couple weeks for my mage and I just scored a 2pc on my druid yesterday.

Just save your seals and make sure you ask or read the text in group finder to make sure your token isn't on res.

Can anyone help me out? I'm new to weak auras and am trying to set it up so that when the buff from Sacred Shield wears off, it plays a sound. However, after the debuff wears off, the aura continues with another 5 second countdown before dinging, Like, it ticks down from 40, the ticks down from 5, then makes the sound.

I came back not long ago and started all the tanaan and shipyard shit.

Today just got the quest done to advance my shipyard. It costs 2500g and garrison resources. The resources are no big deal and even the gold isn't THAT much in the grand scheme. I don't know what this upgrade actually does though. Is it worth the 2500 gold or would it just be wasted at this point?

It more than can make up for the gold you invest in it but making the "optimal" fleet takes time due to Blizzard's crew RNG. The equipment also eats up a lot of GR.

Shipyard is required for legendary ring quest. Also gives gold/baleful tokens/sorcerous materials

Only invest in the shipyard if you intend to reach revered with Hand of Prophets/Voljin headhunters so that u can buy the oil-rig blueprint. Once u have that, the shipyard is essentially self-sustainable.
