So I apparently did something very wrong.

I thought everything was in order last night, but apparently it was just loading the textures and meshes from my install, not from the follower's folder. If I hop onto a fresh mo profile she has default meshes and texturenotfound purple hair and eyes.

I rebuilt it a few times and its still not loading them from its own folder. I followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I1nvXOb3T4. Only diverging at the end to change "nords and vampires" to "dark elf and vampire" to get the hair and shit to show up in the drop down window without having to do tes5edit stuff. I guess thats where the problem lies?

I should also mention for the custom race you need to change "Morph Race" from NONE to NordRace or DarkElfRace or whatever, and "Armor Race" from NONE to DefaultRace (under the General Data tab).
