Essentially yes. Though there were some scripts which resized all the graphics. This resulted in broken maps if you were to drag the contents of the data folder over from the widescreen version to the standard version. The script seemed to be central to the game however, so I couldn't just remove it.

Well, I just checked out the 160601 patch for VH and nothing broke, looks like it just bugfixed some mechanics. With map 401 translated, VH is back to 100% again for text translation.
