I think an easy solution to the Talt problem would be to make some kind of Guild Tower Gift Shop.

Donating talt already gives you a points ranking on the guild list, but that's it. Not every guild is lucky enough to have a Templar that routinely looks at the list and gives out lap pillow compensation.

So why not let donators exchange those points for unique costumes from the guild tower? Two hundred points could get you some ribbons to choose from. Maybe even some unique costumes like guild tabards. Two thousand points gets you a special gesture for couples, or a different sitting animation!

Catapract is a PvP class just by skills and attributes, Catagoon can deal damage in PvE of course but it does shine in PvP

To be fair that was back when they were listing all the dream features this game would have, as it is i think 4-500 tops would be more reasonable. 600 later maybe. But they need to set a current cap and build on it, theyre already recycling mobs as early as 150ish and it only gets worse post 200. You'll normally get anywhere between 1~3 an hour and it drops a shit ton of money and items depending on what you change it into you can make tons of money off the items as well. Except the attribute itself costs 6,100,000 to max.

I was able to confirm today that the cooldown periods after wars end are counting towards 3 war limit. That means that if you wardec 3 guilds today, 7days from now they'll all end, and you'll have to wait an entire week without wars before you can declare more.

They fucked us over really hard with this latest patch. Neutrality was bad, but if the war limit stays in place the way it is now, there isn't much hope left for field PK wars.

No, the actual issue is that shiny mobs ALWAYS drop the same set of items, or close enough to. If a mob drops some particular recipe and some material when it's shiny, it'll ALWAYS drop those, and only those. It's not the same as rolling as though you killed 100 enemies, it just gives you exactly 100x the Silver of the enemy you killed and a predetermined set of drops.

So it's not BAD for Silver if you can grind enough to offset the investment cost, but it's fucking horrible if you're thinking you're going to farm some amazing drops with Shiny mobs every half-hour. They'll always drop the same things and nothing else.

Although there are a FEW skills which help out with farming specific drops - every few minutes you basically get 2 extra tries at a drop, which is great for stuff like Vubbe Blood which has low mob density.

I feel bad for all the Oracles who invested an entire class circle and 6m gold in the hopes that they'd be getting tons of Mithril and shit and ended up with nothing more than a pretty good source of Silver and the equivalent of 2 more mobs every 3 minutes.

Nether is a dull card in almost every way. If you want a melee hound summon, you go for Cerberus who has skills that aren't just him jumping about while still having kinda better stats than Nether.

Chapparition, Templeshooter, Elaganos, Specter Monarch and Harpeia are good cards. Chapparition, for PvE, is a good placeholder until you get Templeshooter because his auto attack is a cleave with a good radius. Whereas most summons have a rather narrow hitbox on their auto attack (even Templeshooter, whose auto attack is only good because of its range and potential for a double hit coupled with the fact most summon autos lack a limit to the number of enemies they can hit) Chapparition's cleave covers a good radius. He makes Sorc C1 slightly less awful compared to most non-Templeshooter summons, because even if the AI decides to swing wrong way, his cleave will usually still hit the enemy you wanted it to

Today on the blog we’re talking about our game client. Many of you have long been noticing that, when user numbers go up or during busy battle scenarios, the client’s response time tends to drop rather low. And in fact, while the game’s graphic engine is able to portray images with its distinctive unique 2d-like feel, it was suffering from a lot of performance-related problems. So, in this post, we want to notify the information about how much we improved in the new patch.

The biggest issue with the current engine was the high number of draw call. Every time this number reached a certain level, the CPU would become overworked while the performance of GPU was underutilized. One of the main reasons behind this high number of draw calls was the abundance of particle effects. Whenever an enemy dies, or a character on screen attacks, and even when doing nothing, a large number of particle effects is required to render all the small objects moving in the background.


In order to reduce the number of draw calls, we need to group together particles of the same type to create draw call batches. The problem is that most particles used are semi-transparent, so without depth sorting, they won’t be rendered the way we intend. The current engine prioritizes rendering accuracy, so particle effects of all types were mixed together, making batching impossible and increasing the number of draw calls. We considered, in this case, that improving the client’s performance was a more urgent matter and decided to slightly compromise the visual accuracy of the game in favor of allowing more batching. We’re also applying other measures to improve performance and reduce draw calls, such as exploiting multiple render targets, shadow processing optimization and character instancing.

The top of the graph shows FPS variation (the higher, the better), while the bottom represents MS figures (where lower is better).

We were able to see that the gaming environment was improved greatly by the fact that by raising the minimum FPS allowed the game to maintain at least 60 FPS on the testing specifications. Note that these results were obtained in a testing environment and can differ depending on each user's PC specifications. However, the inconvenience caused by these problems is expected to reduce significantly in most situations. Besides of these issues, there are still some problems need to be optimized such as CPU multicore utilization and Graphics data-side optimizations. These measures are part of all efforts to continue providing a better environment to TOS players.
