Hog actually has to hit people with his stun. The hook is also buggy as fuck so you have a decent chance of not actually dying even if he hooks you.

McCree gets a free kill by throwing his "hook" in your general direction. Widow kills you once every two seconds. Hog is not quite as obnoxious as these two (he has to hit, but he can only hit you once every six seconds), so he gets a pass for now.

When most of the games are stomps from either side (from my personal experience, around 80%), you know it's forced 50. The matchmaking puts 3 or 4 monkeys in one team and the other team is full of average+ players.

The problem with melee-only damage dealers is they either have to be insanely OP or they'll just fall flat and be useless.

Usually they'll have to have some other thing to bring to the team (Reinhardt) in order to be worth picking, but I don't see that working for a squishier defense character.
