Bastion's ult is really the best ult in the entire game. You do it and you're guaranteed kills, it isn't situational like other ults in the game, you just Q and one/two shot everybody.

You need to stand behind you team a bit, turn into a shield dispenser and get your charge up
Look after your team. If someone is about to go in, shield em, if the enemy used their ult shield em.
Her alt fire also turns her into a Junkrat lite, but if you have 70+ charge your laser will fucking melt people even more at full charge
And pop her ult if the enemy team is close together on a point. You can easily get rid of the entire team like that.

That's because POTG is hugely biased towards EBIN kills. It's pretty rare to see a POTG that isn't someone pressing Q and getting a triple or someone just getting a great flank and four kills. Any of the supports busting out a great ultimate? That will never get POTG except MAYBE a four man rez from mercy. But I've seen games were a four man rez from a mercy in overtime got cucked by a triple from a hanzo Q.

Her shields are key, they charge her weapon which is the number under the reticle. It ticks down at a set rate anytime your shield doesn't take fire. The shields have a short life or a 50% charge max from say a Hanzo, or Junkrat ult. I use the one on a team mate start helping to harass enemy, then if need be pop my own and walk in front of enemy fire to let team get to cover in need be. Her main fire is a short beam that gets wider as it's charged higher. Her alt fire pretty much a grenade of the same energy lobbed, I think you get four alt fire shots then have to reload. Her ult is great for setting up other aoe ults it is a black hole that pulls people to it, or just lob your nade energy at high charge for multi kill. The beam can not be deflected by Genji, the nade and ult can. Her shield negates Mei's freeze effect, McDick's stun and Roadhog's hook. It will eat any ult up to the 50% so Hanzo, Mei, Junkrat, Pharra ext you have grace period.

I wish I could play Roadhog more often. Everytime I select him, nobody selects another tank, or the guy who is Reinhardt switches off to something else. Christ, even when we do get another tank, then fucking nobody else plays Support, so then I have to.

On the subject of tanks, I sort of dislike how vital Reinhardt seems. If the enemy team has one, you kind of need one as well.

Keep in mind shields are short lived so you can just set'em and forget'em they either hit top % or dissipate. Although with out her own shield a couple enemies focusing fire with no back up from your team to draw them off will drop you. Not only am I constantly grouped with retards, but also generally doing a lot worse than in the open beta myself, but I'm still sitting at 60% win rate even with heroes I feel like I'm doing horrible with.

Literally the only heroes I have less than 50% win rate with are the ones I played one or two games with and lost.

Sure it's bumped a bit with things like Lucio/Winston 80% win rate but still.

Are they muddling the statistics to be more of a hugbox so most people have positive win rates or something?

Sniper has to pull the bolt back after every round and wait for a decent charge. This encourages slow, precise aim and punished spamming. His secondary is slow and does peashooter damage, more of a dark joke than anything. His health is low enough that a Scout can 2 shot him.

Widowmaker has superspeed charge time, a semi-automatic rifle that rewards spamming into the body, too much health for a squishy sniper, a fucking FUCKING assault rifle built into the sniper rifle, a free mine, wallhacks and a quick escape. Remove Widowmaker.

just off the top of my head, she's too deadly. But, she's also an attacker and brings nothing to the team except damage. Changing how much damage she deals is not a solution then, but the way she deals damage needs to be more nuanced.

consider this: increase her bullet spread.
Right now she puts out excellent damage at mid range, and is downright murder if she mag dumps at close range. Those things must not changed, but she needs to aim, not spray.

I'm undecided on a final method to accomplish this as well. Something where she gets a few accurate shots, then inaccuracy spikes, and then slowly becomes more accurate until the magazines are empty. She can still get a quick accurate burst off, but if she wants to do sustained damage, she needs to stick around and press the attack. Or maybe tweak it so she marks targets and deals increased damage to them, combined with reduced damage (compared to the present) against unmarked targets, and that also could work.
