While I can pretty easily imagine what Max and Chloe's kid would be like. I'm having a hard time envisioning Kate and Victoria's. I'm guessing the kid would like animals, be interested in some form of art (Photography or drawing) and be religious to an extent. But I could see Victoria being a surprisingly good mother and Kate reading their child prototypes books or showing them her drawings. The kid itself (Not sure if I would want them to have a boy or girl) would be really good friends with Max and Chloe's daughter. Being slightly older, the Price/Caulfield daughter would be the one getting the Marsh/Chase child into all the trouble and adventures.

It's not Dontnod conducting the survey. It's some company they hired to get feedback and report back to them.
While I can understand them not addressing criticism on social media, I hope they at least know there's things they can improve on and now they're trying to find out what those things are so they can do better in the future.
If they really thought everything was perfect they wouldn't have any reason to try to get feedback.

I'll give them a second chance but will try to refrain myself from getting overly hyped (And will almost certainly fail in doing so).
They really don't need to improve that much, assuming Season 2's story is similar. But since it's only the second game they're still establishing what LiS is. Maybe it won't even involve an impending disaster and will just be about solving a mystery and helping friends.
At this point it's fr too early to make assumptions or predictions, all we can do is hope they learned from their mistakes and are not as daft as they appear on their social media accounts.

Where do you want season 2 to take place? Do you want something new like a major city or do you want to revisit a quiet suburban area again?

I think the obvious for Max & Chloe's daughter would be Rachel (Rach for short).
And for Kate & Victoria's son I was thinking Nathanael (Nate for short). Fitting since it's a biblical character so it appeals to Kate as well as it's similar to Nathan so it appeals to Victoria.

Pretty much pic related as a basic framework to end on. But with the side characters also getting more fitting conclusions. Either by Max narrating or by Molli's idea, which I still love, of the end of the game showing a scrapbook with photos and captions about what happened.
The main idea behind this is to give Rachel a larger role, dispense with the idiotic forced tragedy that the storm caused, and for characters to grow and redeem themselves.

LiS is the first I've been in. Most games I play are either ongoing such as MOBAs or MMOs, mobile apps, sandbox with no clear end because you make the game what you want or even after game ends there's an online component such as pvp and trading between players or the game has ended but players tend to chat about equipment, alchemy and stat builds for second run throughs or show off their own character power.

LiS has none of that and it's pretty unique among my own game library. I have no clue what to really bring up other than er.....sequal gossip and waifus? Which seems to be all there is?

Now I'm not too big on weeb culture but I'm not sure you can call the game characters "waifus" in /lesg/'s treatment of them. People "ship" them together as distinct characters, rather than themselves with them insertively. It may boil down to the same regardless as far as type of content is concerned, but I'd like to think talking in-depth about characters and their relationships is always interesting.

And between a still living fandom (fanart, fanfiction, mods, discussion, drama, ...), developers/people involved that are still repping the game in the form of interviews and otherwise (which has both positives and negatives), a more-or-less confirmed sequel and just having an established thead culture, there's still plenty to go on.

On the other hand, you could help keep it from getting boring. If you never did talk about any of the game events or elements there should be plenty on your mind.
