I stopped playing Destiny after a few weeks of the Hard Mode Taken King Raid. Has anything happened or been added since then worthwhile? I know there was a racing mode for like a week but everyone said that was trash, and I heard earlier today that they finally added that Titan chest that lets you dodge (which I spent so many fucking coins trying to get before everyone realized it just wasn't there early on in TTK).

But other than that, has anything changed?

Additional, specific questions, if you're so inclined to answer:
Did they ever add Transmog so I can use my dope-ass robot suit from VoG?
Did they ever fix Blink and Shotguns in PvP?
Did they ever fix the dumb item-feeding stats system?
Have they rebalanced Light Levels AGAIN or have they finally decided on a system that works?

Seeing as they didn't add transmog, did they ever add new armor and stuff so everyone doesn't look the same? Last I remember was an Iron Banner set for each class that had people looking like Knights and shit, but if I recall, at the time it was so low that infusion would've taken forever and I gave up on it. Was that the last for customization, or what?

And secondly, if it's so easy to get to 335 now, what does everyone do? I totally get that this is the life cycle of Destiny in between expansions, so I'm not trying to be one of those fuckers coming to /dg/ going "WOWWHAT DO YOU EVEN DO", but I'm legitimately curious.

Absolutely goddamn nothing, there's a reason why previously Destiny centric Youtubers like Mr. Fruit are making less and less Destiny content

Theres a new set of Spektar gear for each class, which uses a new material called Chroma. You get them from Sterling Treasures, which you get by either paying for or you can get 3 a week doing in game things. One for just logging in, one for doing a single match and one for doing a run of the level 41 Prison of Elders. The April Update was mostly focused on Prison of Elders. Theres a new Challenge mode which gives you a set of skulls each week and targets you with attaining 30,000 points in a single run and 90,000 overall. Its very easy to do but it gives pretty good rewards so its worth doing.

With everything being 335, you just run the raid or doing PvP popping 3oC until you have enough gear to infuse your favorite stuff up. Its not like there's more to do, its just easier to grind in essence. This is the big dry spell before the next DLC/Expansion release in the fall.

Ever since TTK released, all legendary gear can upgrade to 335. April update added Chroma Gear, Y2 versions of Y1 legendary stuff (The Comedian, The Devil You Know, Longbow Synthesis), a neat looking Taken set for each class, and more faction gear.

They play for fun, try their best to get god-tier rolls on stuff (the new meme meta is T12 gear), rank up factions to get ships, shaders, and the exotic class items, etc.
Essentially, the game allows you to have fun any way you want while also reaching 335 light.

Shaxx true meaning of war thing can go to 335, so can iron banter, but regular crucible drops are still dogshit. Trials prizes can also be 335.
