I don't know myself honestly, it's just a thing I do, it's also why my end-game team for that run was really small. For some reason I also have a problem in what weapons I let my characters use. For someone like Xander obviously you're gonna have him use Siegfried all the time, maybe an occasional lance, but for Silas I always had hi use swords despite having access to lances and axes, so I could have kept Effie and had her use lances while Benny used axes, but instead I just had Benny as a lance user. I really need to work on it because it makes my units much less adaptable to new situations.
