Absolutely. It's pretty comfy, there's very little actual challenge.

I only get 1-2 hours of gaming time in the evenings, tops. Stardew Valley on my media PC with a controller before bed is great.

A day goes by in about 20 minutes, I think. The only hard part is remembering what I had planned for today, from yesterday

A new area to goto, maybe a new little town or village or something. Was always psyched to explore the new areas (like the desert, the secret woods, the sewers and the deposit with random mining drops) after hours and hours of playing. Though unfortuanetly for the woods and sewers there wasnt much to do.
Also, maybe add a little pond in the deposit that specializes in panning for minerals. I know I have probably only used that mechanic once or twice in my many hours of playing.

How do I deal with the boredom of winter?
On my first playthrough I burnt out early winter year 2 after completing the community center and making tons of cash.
Now on a second game I just started I have no desire to play middle of winter year 1.

They grow random random winter forage, which you can turn into more seeds and mass produce them.
By the time Winter ended I had tons of seeds for the next Winter.
No real profit really if you ask me.
It just provides some side farming during Winter since you always get bored during that season as years go by.

Basically hoe all the worms you see, get enough to make seeds, and I believe you get 10 from the winter forage pack.
Just grow them, turn into more seeds, and repeat til the end of Winter.

There's also upload.farm, a site where you upload your savefile and it gives you a screenshot of you entire farm, as well as stats.

Same stuff as the community center from what I've heard, just a lot easier (since you only need money for the bundles), which means that you'll get tired of that save faster than normal.
Also, no +friendship bundle.

But what do you want as endgame content? New dungeon with a lot harder enemies and gear that you can let Clint upgrade with lots of dosh? Unique decorative items as loot?
To be honest, i would like zombies and shit attacking your farm occasionally and you have to build turrets and other defenses against them or risk losing your crops, animals and other placed objects, perhaps even buildings.

So i started a new character just to get a joja membership because im fucking retarded.
BUT i didnt get any achievement after all because i have complete one bundle back when it was the warehouse, and nothing happened after i bought the last ones on year 2.
can i still get the Statue of Perfection by the end of the year or did i completely fuck it up too?

I got GeDoSaTo working (used the pastebin guide) with SMAPI, although when I take the screenshots they don't take of the whole farm, just the current screen. I'm in borderless with correct resolution as well. Am I missing something?

Anyone want to rate my mod concepts?

Farmer needs to eat
Eating food gives you the "well fed" buff for a few hours. Without the buff, your energy decreases by a % of total every 10 minutes. The idea is to eat a meal twice a day or you're exhausted. Bigger cooked meals buff for longer than raw produce or forage. Joja sells bachelor food like ramen and frozen pizza to help in the early game.


The farmer needs to sleep
Going to bed after 10pm reduces your maximum energy for the following day. You lose a % of total every 10 minutes past 10pm. Multiple late nights in a row make it worse, sleeping before 10pm resets your energy to maximum.


The idea is to add a bit more challenge and decision making, especially in the early game. But I don't want to make it tedious to play.

I have another idea about perishable food and craftable refrigerators but that's looking hard to implement for the moment

And the evening never ended so you could work forever. Adding a sleep in call if you go to bed late may be tricky, or could be possible with the new api.
