Prim Head = 1000+ Linden (It maybe easier to just get a anime-ish head made for Maitreya instead of trying to use Venus if you're okay with not being able to use the venus hud. There's not really a facial expression hud for Maitreya prim heads. If the head isn't designed for Maitreya you're going to need to find a skin that hast he same tone for 2-3 different bodies)
Skin = 500-1000+ Linden

Then you can find a nice hair for about 250-500 Linden

and depending on what type of outfit you want, you can look nice for under 1000 Linden. But if you want to do some fantasy type of thing it's going to be about 2000 Linden. If you want to look good with Maitreya, be prepared to cough up $25-$40.

A friend who has Adam loves it. Great functionality and look without being overly muscular if that's what you want. Not as much fitmesh stuff for it out there though as TMP and Aesthetic sadly.

I have the ADAM body and it's pretty much the best mesh body I've used. The omega support is a little wonky. The feet are 100% slink compatible and work perfectly with all slink shoes. You can flip people off with the hands which is nice.

For the love of god, don't buy TMP. Worst 5k I ever spent. I would rather throw that 5k into a fire than give it to the assholes who made that shitty body. It has serious issues that haven't been addressed, and hasn't been updated in over a year. They fucking refuse to allow Omega appliers because it would cut into their shitty vendor lock in.

I'm looking for a good looking, non-anime mesh human head with lots of customization potential. Which head do you suggest?

Expensive. Buff, but not extremely muscular. Looks nice enough - only supports the proprietary appliers that The Shops approve of. Must apply for dev kit. Lots of support for the body in the way of appliers.
>ADAM by Absolute Creation
Cheaper than TMP, slightly more muscular, but can be lean. Supports ADAM and Omega appliers, although the latter doesn't always work right. Slink product compatible feet. Dev kit available for free at the store - trivial to make appliers for. Support is a bit limited compared to TMP and Slink.

Leanest of the three. Base body is the cheapest, but hand poses add up. Would suggest holding off on buying a bunch of hand poses until Project Bento drops. Works with Omega appliers and has a personal texture HUD available.

Don't know much about this body.

Relatively affordable body. Most muscular of all the bodies listed - ideal for big bodybuilder types. Lots of support in the way of skins, appliers, and clothing, but definitely won't work with any clothing made for the LL body or other mesh bodies. Is mod, which is a huge plus.

Perfect /fit/ body with amazing textures and anatomy. Modding requires texturing skills because it doesn't use the SL uv map, so you can't slap any skin on it. Very good body for object heads/furries because you can replace the sameface head
