It's a high level homebrew that allows you to back up most save data stored on your SD card.
Redscreen when selecting a title means svdt does not have low enough access/permission to back up that save.
Use it by copying it's files, .3dsx and .smdh (might be more, idk), to the 3ds/svdt folder.
You should have the 3ds folder from copying over the contents of the started bundle.
