There ARE bad guns. There are even pointless and borderline unusable guns. There's pretty much NO reason or circumstance you would ever want to equip the Broomstick Pistol, the Matever, and hell, even the Thanatos doesn't have much of a reason to exist in this day and age.

A skilled up Mosconi is a beautiful sight but the shotgun class as a whole is pretty balls. Skill beta is helping with that, we might see the Locomotive again.

Crook requires basic bulletproof, together with hostage taker aced, or FAK's, which aren't abusable anymore. That means pumping a fuckton of points to get to tier 4 of a skill tree.

Rogue only requires bullseye basic at best, together with hostage taker (or FAK's). That means you can usually run aced Swan Song with rogue in addition to inspire, some AR skills and silent killer. You have to ditch swan song, or AR skills, or silent memer with Crook.

In total, survival with Crook+bulletproof basic+hostage taker, and surival with Rogue+hostage taker is on about the same power level, however you have to ditch swan song for Crook. Thereby, I would recommend Rogue over Crook.

I cannot comment on Anarchist, since I don't own the DLC, but it sounds feasible to run on 15 dodge and Bullseye aced.

Also, I have considered hostage taker with Grinder, but that amounts to 5 baseline dodge, which is very underwhelming. Plus, its way too much regen stacked. The point of dodge is the ability to dodge away bulldozer shots/bullseye into taking 10 armor dmg instead of tanking 200 health dmg. It does not matter one regens like nuts with a combination of grinder and hostage taker, when one dies instantly to high damage shots, which are the biggest problem with dodge builds in general;weak cops and dozers burst down way too fast, and you usually have to dodge them away to stay alive.

It was caused by me using silent killer

Causing an aggressive action to be reported.
The last condition may look intimidating, but is reduced to nothing if you have a silenced weapon capable of killing with a single hit. With such a weapon, you may shoot all other guards except the one attempting to arrest you and nobody will care. As long as you don't move or kill the person trying to arrest you, you can remain in the state of being arrested until you are finally handcuffed. If there is no clear path to your location, the guard trying to arrest you will not move at all, so you can stay in this state indefinitely. You can bind several guards to the same location by sitting on top of a glass roof (when standing on the large sculptures in the gallery however, they will simply walk through the air and arrest you anyway). They will neither move, call the police or shoot at you, provided you stay still and don't kill the one guard who has seen you first and is technically still attempting to handcuff you. Granted, the uncool enemies usually cascade out of sight, so this strategy will fail unless you keep track of all enemies.

Honestly if you play with 2 people, you and another person, with 2 bots it would be cake. One guy brings a sentry gun, one guy brings an ammo bag. Stay in cover and make sure the bots don't get overwhelmed. If you're stationary and have to run out of cover drop the sentry gun, refill off the ammo bag if necessary, pick the sentry gun up when you go back to cover. Use muscle or gambler for the health regen. Playing with bots means only 2 people will be picking up ammo boxes, better chance of keeping the sentry gun stocked. Leave it by the power box so you can camp somewhere safer. The drills only take a minute, and only one of them will have a spot with bad cover, so you could always open the armory and infirmary, then save the last card for the exit. As long as you don't get screwed by swat turret rng on day 1 or captain shitter on day 2 you'll be golden. Even then, 6 grenades between 2 people should be enough to take him out. Swat turret would be the biggest pain because you have to spam f to get the bots to follow you into cover, and if they go down you're screwed.

I made it through solo before the beta because I got perfect rng. No turrets, only a couple dozers, powerbox back in a corner, and all the rooms I needed to access were in cover. If I got 3 turrets or 14 dozers like I got with my buddy last week I'd have been screwed.

Legendaries don't really get modifiers that make them that unique. From what I recall it's one stat boost you could get on a normal weapon and then one stat boost you can't get otherwise. Like the new Judge legendary has an accuracy modifier and a hidden ammo increase I think. It wouldn't have something like increased weapon butt damage because it has brass knuckles attached. Even though I think that would be cool, making legendaries super unique would push this game further down the P2W hole, which wouldn't bother me that much because it's not like I'll ever spend a cent on this trash game or its developer ever again.
