Specifically, I'd like to change how purity/dirty works, since I don't want to be raped by monsters (which I lose the ability to resist at dirty 60+) but there are some H-scenes I want access to (that require 50+). Before making the page it, I'm thinking of making a small prototype that has the basic mechanics and an H scene as example. Along with that some concept art for future scenes.

People start Patreons with nothing but an idea. Doesn't mean it's very wise to do so.
If you just want to milk people for money, there is ways of doing that and designing your "game" to make sure people will throw more money at you.
If you really want to make a game because you have an idea and actually want to make it, what do you need the patreon for so early in development? If you have a reason, like paying an artist, I'd understand. Otherwise you'd be better off showing you can actually make something taking longer than a weekend first. Create some meaningful amount of content. Enough to actually call it a demo instead of just a proof of concept or tech demo.

You might end up getting assaulted by a Japanese killer truck out hunting h game devs.
For some reason devs can't just admit they quit or aren't on the schedule they set themselves. They all mysteriously get sick, have issues in the family (e.g. death), their hardware fails, they lose their data and any other tragedy which may delay release mysteriously haunts them 100 times more often than normal people. Them getting gravely ill just tops the list of problems they face.
Maybe it's a curse? Don't know if there is insurance for ancient Japanese curses.

I won't even lie, I'd be making a Patreon so I could get paid to work on something I want to make.
If its something people feel is worth supporting, I don't see why not.
