I really haven't played any bullet hells at all before this one. Before Gungeon I was mostly playing Isaac, and I wouldn't call that a bullet hell by any stretch of the imagination.

Man I love stealing the owl from the ghost bullet. I just bought sixth chamber and charm horn from cursula in the demon face. Walked to the bullet guy and stole the owl. I got the owl for cheaper this way and got sixth chamber with a lot of curse on it. Grappling hooking his shit is also fun cause you get grappling hook quite often.

Monster blood is whatever, it may make you immune poison which is ok. I haven't decided what I think of MXT yet first time I had it I used it on Wallmonger and it seemed bad, second time I used it on something else and it was good. God fucking damn it. I'm so done with the binding of isaac. I've done ever unfair challenge, i've beaten the game as the lost and the keeper which wasn't fun and was tedious as fuck. But I, CANNOT beat this shitty fucking mode as azazel to get lilith. Azazel is too god damn slow to outrun most enemies, his range makes him god damn impossible and is more frustrating then fun in the basement due to RNG movement enemies THAT JUMP RIGHT INTO ME BEFORE I CAN MOVE.

Honestly it's kind of like the Bloodied Scarf, in that in theory it's godly and you should basically be able to flawless everything with it, but it completely changes the gameplay so it throws you off. It's better than the scarf though, but still hard to get used to. On the one hand, you basically pause the game at will any second to decide the better path, but on the other you can't hit anything if you're not moving, and you don't see the speed at which the enemy bullets will move once you "unpause".

Tried to get through greed mode with azazel just to check if it's possible and it was not luck the first time. Got amazing items including fucking pyromaniac, fucking small planet, fucking vampire, some damage ups, tear ups, four hearts and no range. A cherry on a cake was a guppy paw in a red chest in final devil room. It was not hard to stay alive in a final fight, although I've used guppy paw twice, but damaging ultra greed with a beam that barely extends from small planet circle was tricky.

And then I looked at greed machine, checked wiki, found out that a 1000 coins is needed to unlock Keeper and decided to fuck off. Haven't bothered with Lost in Rebirth, wouldn't bother with Keeper in this.

If you have not yet picked a key up on that floor, the shop is guaranteed to have at least 1 key for sale.

The intended behavior was so that a key drop would be the trigger event rather than picking one up and honestly I wouldn't be sad to see this go since it adds a layer of unnecessary backtracking if you want to min-max. The Rat exists specifically to prevent this sort of min-max behavior as it slows the game down to a goddamn crawl. It's just that he doesn't affect keys so people found ways to cheese it. No idea what they'd do about swapping actives back and forth in order to leapfrog them to a sell creep though.

Really the shop should just always have shit for sale, it's either feast or famine as it is.
