I tried to make him work, I really did.

What I have come to realize is that midrange shaman will NEVER EVER work as long as overload is a thing because as midrange you want to play good shit on curve and overload makes that impossible.

That is why my winrate skyrocketed when I finally said "fuck it" and switched to aggro without Hallazeal and the other needless shit.

I wish it wasn't this way, but it is.

My first leggo I got from a pack. He's pretty good, but doesn't really have a place in most shaman lists these days. Kind of like Eadric for paladin back in the day, pretty good card with a nice effect, but in the situation you'd like to use it, it's often too late unless the opponent is dumb.

Murlocs are fun as fuck. They are similar to zoo, but you absolutely need to curve out well and get that Divine Favor because you don't get to comeback by tapping to reload. On the other hand, you get great synergies with Steward of Darkshire, Blood Knight, Rallying Blade, Warleader, and whatever your Murloc Knights shit out, making your board able to trade with anything and survive all but Twisting Nether.

I play similar N'Zoth list to all the popular netdecks, just swapping out some more control stuff like one Doomsayer or Humility-Kodo combo for cards like Defender of Argus or Hogger for smoother curve and more value in the late game.

This is some sort of hybrid of Reno, Fatigue, Concede and Control mage I came up with jokingly about a week ago as soon as the expansion came out. Surprisingly enough, it's actually pretty good.

I'm still experimenting with some cards like Mountain Giant, Elise and Corrupted Healbot. I tried replacing these with other big bodies/removals/cards that helped with one of my win conditions which is Fatigue such as BGH, Fallen Hero, Shatter, Animated Armor, Sevant of Yogg-Saron and others.

The secret here is a very nifty combo against C'thun. Reno, Polymorph and Brewmaster. Bam, there goes his own condition. Ice Block helps if you can't reach these in time, along with 'combos' like Sylvanas + fireballing her to steal C'thun. I rarely get to actually use the Golden Monkey; it's there mostly as a Plan B and helping with Fatigue.

Obviously, since this is a Reno deck and there aren't that many drawing cards, you need to be very intelligent when it comes to Mulligan and when to draw cards with Oracle and Azure Drake. Sometimes I'll just straight up give the opponent cards without milling them in order to reach my combo. Sometimes I just keep Reno in my initial hand.

Also important to note is that Thaurissan is the card that allows Poly + Reno + Brew because of the mana cost. Once you have at least TWO of these ingredients in your hand, you can drop Thaurissan.

Also obvious is that this is a Reno deck so it's very flexible. You can experiment and put whatever the fuck you think works there. Idk if Yogg-Saron would work in this. Maybe, maybe not. Literally every match is different with this deck; sometimes you'll win with a lucky brann + mc tech, sometimes you'll fatigue them, sometimes you'll mill their C'thun/N'zoth (it has happened several times already lel), or sometimes you'll straight up just remove their shit before their C'thun gets strong enough to even pop your Ice Block.
