Too gimmicky. Good character builds thrive on consistency and a set relying on procs and crits is far from consistent. There's a reason why this build was proposed time and time again but never really gained steam and got popular: it looks good on paper, but rarely will it ever work out especially when you're wanting to end as a master ninja and you're expecting him to kill everything on his own. You'll definitely reset everytime you get a non-proc and this build won't even survive against a competent online team since a brave axe will murder you before you even get a proc.

tl;dr: This build is far from original and was already proven to be subpar when people were talking about optimizing gimmick Corrin builds. The only gimmick build that was proven to be consistently good (even if it has hard counters) is the Miracle Midori build.

Pick Knight as the talent and spend some time in that class at least until you get Wary Fighter since Corn has horrible def growth. Renewal is a must. Dodge rate is dependent on the enemy, but probably negligible if he's using a Barb Shuriken and definitely 0 if PvP. Crit rate is mostly up to the enemy's luck.

I think the build is best off with Magic, or maybe a Berserker teamed up with a ton of Rescue staves (assuming PvP). For normal play and DLC, the build is probably enough to kill anything that doesn't have Dragonskin.

Keep in mind Quixotic gives the enemy +30 hit and +15% skill activation as well. This can potentially screw him over since everything will hit him at a respectable rate meaning anything can kill him now even with Vantage since he can't OHKO a Berserker even with Rend Heaven when you factor the demerit for weapon disadvantage and the low str of master ninjas.

There's one last mission, I believe, where it's literally just a huge open map with a fuckton of enemy units, Awakening-style, and it's just stupid. That mission is the one where all of your items will be taken away at the end.

It's also the one with an infinite amount of buyable Seraph Robes.

I've seen people do the Mine glitch, sell literally everything, then buy as many boosters as they can and use them before the map ends. There's nothing to keep you from doing this, because you get nothing for whatever items your units are or aren't carrying to end the mission. It lets you do stupid shit like make an otherwise nonviable unit into a really weird high-HP specialist, like Cia or one of the Pegasus Knights, if you don't want to just break the game by throwing them all on a tank or something.


After this, the game's map design improves notably, from what I remember.

It's a pretty fun map, though one of the easier ones.
Things to keep in mind, if you need help:
>top is way easier than the bottom, you can clear it in a few turns
>Azura's clone CAN'T sing, pretty much useless except for maybe trading items around sometimes, and the occasional attack stance
>Azura's song's buffs will also buff the clone
>healing items and Azura's start-of-turn heal will also heal the clone
>changing weapons will also change the clone's weapons
I usually go for a quick quick clear on the top half so that I can sit by the exit in case shit starts to go wrong (though I'd probably just reset anyway lel). When everyone's together at the top and it's clear, you can use Azura to heal/buff, and you can have Gunter and Corrin change weapons after the clones have finished moving, along with healing via Vulneraries.

Do you define it as learning about new kingdom names, which one has the Wyverns or Pegasi, and which nations are allied with which? Then sure, I guess you could say the FE games have worldbuilding. Same for the generic legends of an evil dragon defeated by great heroes of the past, that every nation in this world believe in and stand behind.

But if you're talking more in-depth elements of worldbuilding - how a nation that's home to Wyverns would develop differently than one without them, how they might use them in non-combat situations, how they're housed or raised or what cultural influences they've had on that society, or maybe how a nation like Ilia that's frigid and mountainous with an entire caste of knights that can only be female because of Pegasi limitations, and how those factors can seriously impact a land's culture or social hierarchy beyond just saying "yeah boys are dumb girls rule" like you minimally get from Farina's supports - the FE series really doesn't seem to care. And again, it's reasonable that that's the case, because those kind of worldbuilding elements don't build towards what the games are trying to achieve. But it's still a notable vacancy that exists within most of the series.

Even simple plots like the Archanea games had enough set up with dates and backstory for most of their kingdoms. You knew that the macedonians were originally a bunch of slaves to the manaketes from Dolhr, who eventually rebelled and used wyverns to fight against the dragons under the rule of the hero Iote. And you even knew the dates of those events.

Awakening did a pretty poor job at world building with reusing a setting but no explanation of what transcurred in those thousands somethings years. Why are the Plegians where originally Altea was? Where did Grima come from? Exactly WHAT caused the schism? But at least there were enough nods and reference to carry things out.

Then Fates gets and you just have a bunch of thrown in locations, no dates, no nothing. The fall of Kohga and Mukushu must be the closest to the usual political shit that always happened in Fire Emblem, and they're something so minor that they're only ever brought up in like one chapter of each route. You have all those tribes that you know nothing about, you know that Nohr and Hoshido are the greatest kingdoms of the world because they said that to you, you never really get to know anything. It all goes into some really, really long ago obscure bullshit regarding Anankos that they just hand wave. Yeah, the royal families were related to the dragons or some shit, what else?

Tellius also tackled into ancient shit and didn't turn into a giant question mark, and that with all the questionable quality that's the RD plot after part 3.

The world building and writing of this series is getting worse with each new game, and it seems that by dividing Fates into three they jumped three whole levels of awfulness at once.

some people think so for maingame so you don't accidentally kill something you want to, and because 5 points technically is a bigger deal compared to skills that will only add 6 on activation.
but based on the idea of getting inspiration on a physical unit that also doesn't get strat without marrying the player character, i'm assuming you mean for postgame, in which you basically want the biggest numbers and to kill as many things as possible, and in cases like that your numbers are also high enough that crits and astras will add way more than just 5 damage

an upgradable base is fine but FE14's is a shitty gimmick that adds nothing of value besides capturing, and even that is worse than it should be. Social shit should stay in phone games.
