I've also forgot to mention how bullshit level scaling in WF is, especially when enemies tend to have aimbot+hitscan weapons. Reminds me of OG Ninja Gaiden 2 except not even remotely as fun

Any tips on the cutlasses and ground fishes between level 60-80 as Dante? They're not difficult, but a major time sink. In a room say with 10 flying swords it is such a chore to clear it. The dogs also give me trouble because they don't stagger for shit and hard to launch, unlike Frost where prop shredder always work.

I managed to scrape by, but then always ran out of time when fighting Credo

IIRC using Omen makes them jump and keeps them stunned briefly, but you will also be unable to move

alternatively you could use the launch-pad missiles that will track them down

if you have DT you can machine-gun them down too

basically Pandora is the best way to deal with them

Yeah Pandora still fuck me up because I'm a noob. I know it is very beneficial to keep the purple Pandora gauge up, but my tiny brain still can't keep up with cycling both guns and melee at the same time. There's countless time where I'm pressing circle in gunslinger expecting rainstorm and the stupid pandora rocket pod came out.

So after over a decade, I finally got around to playing DMC1. I beat it within a week since it's pretty short but holy shit this game is a fucking revelation. I regret not playing it earlier. It was so fucking good, I loved almost every second fuck the underwater parts, literally what were they thinking?.

Next is DMC2 and after that I'll replay DMC3. Goddamn, I love Devil May Cry.
