Even on Hime and Mei it doesn't work too well. The creator seems to be running at lower quality on whatever device you're using, and some of the jagged edges from that just happen to make the chin look much more pronounced and masculine than in other people's images.

In other news I tried to find DG videos that would give us a better idea on what each VA sounds like per type but can't see anything. The Ladybeard one just plays the 3 line samples we already get. There are some type sample videos captured from players but they're just in one voice and they don't name who in the title or description.
Here's an example of Friendly's spring chat. I think she might be wearing the event gacha MR we're about to get, and not sure if it trigger's the chat or if it happens on a certain day. I hope it doesn't mean they haven't been omitting translating MR chats other than the ones from MR+.

Damn, this next event is complicated.The story's that you're helping out at a restaurant. The event's called Neighborhood Restaurant, or something to that effect.
Just started, but already it's pretty complicated. You start by choosing where you want to procure ingredients from from 6 possible locations, and then through two separate pages, you prepare and serve dishes. At least, that's what I'm getting from the help. There's also something about popularity if your items sell well. No idea what that's about yet, but you can use Peach Buns to boost popularity or something. Double Candy returns, with a slightly modified effect though, in that they removed the 30 minute time limit. Or so I think the help says.
Finally, it's 100 stamina, 3 minutes per stamina, exchange only, and there's special questions teasing the event NPC in the help that we won't get.

Anyway. More on the event:There are no stages, and instead once you choose an area to gather from, you'll get a random amount of a random ingredient from that area every time you press continue. At any point in time, you can go back to the top of the event and choose a different area. There are no progress bars, or stage names, or anything. The amount of items you can get is really varied too.
On the cooking page, aside from actually cooking, you can confirm your ingredient inventory, as well as your cooked dishes inventory. When you actually do press the button to cook, you'll get a list of only the dishes you can currently make, and nothing about dishes you have only some of the ingredients for, or anything like that. ...Guess I'll make a recipe list on the spreadsheet.
Anyway, each recipe has a difficulty rating and an earnings rating of I assume 1-3 stars, maybe 5. After selecting a recipe to use, you can then select the quantity to make, if you have enough ingredients to make more than one.

I just realized I forgot to mention cooking points. I have no idea what they do, but you get them as you gather ingredients. When I said each dish has a difficulty rating, I meant a cooking point rating. Might correspond to failing/succeeding at a recipe, but I haven't failed one yet, and my cooking points didn't increase or decrease after cooking something successfully.
Finally, on the sale screen, you can set up to three dishes to display at once. Items on display will be bought over time until they run out, at which point you'll need to restock them. You can also switch them out if you decide to focus on cooking different dishes. The screen also keeps track of your earnings (in points, not moen), and your shop's popularity (out of 100, starts at 50). Earnings are what you use to buy things at the exchange. Popularity, no real idea.
Oh yeah, Chie shows up randomly while you're gathering ingredients too. You can give her one at random which will randomly either get you a random item, or increase her "feelings of gratitude", which is a percentage-based resource not mentioned in the help. It starts off at 0, and is raised by 5% each time. Also no idea what that does.
So basically, this event is all about balancing what you cook and switching them around once you run low on the ingredients for them, and then minmaxing your items by visiting the right places for the dishes you want to cook.

So, I'm an idiot and this was probably obvious.Cooking P is earned alongside earnings when a dish is sold. Cooking P is what determines your rank. Basically, some dishes are better for ranking and some are better for buying things from the exchange. According to the help, double candy will not increase points gained from selling things. It'll just double the cooking points you get for 50 steps, since you can only get points from steps outside of selling dishes.

No biggie if you can't do returns in DG, a ton of people can't make time for it. Just let people know they won't get CP back from their visits rather than inviting them. If you get a lot of footprints all the names may seem daunting but after a while it's easy to recognize your usuals and ignore everything else since most are all there purely from the random visit buttons. I visit my usuals automatically because I know they've visited of will visit soon for the day, then check footprints to make sure I didn't forget one of them and if a ded friend has strayed back to visiting. I also try to notice if a stranger has come to give both a Talk and Like but that's more difficult so it's optional. Checking the weekly quests until their fulfilled also helps keep track to see if I have the same amount of 100 Talk and 100 Likes left. If I have 1 less Like than Talk til the quest is finished it means I've unfortunately forgotten to hit the Like button for someone.

That's also probably because of the 'must not cause inconveniences' mindset. For example you can't use phones or talk loudly or eat on most public trains, and standing up to a train groper would also cause disruption. You also cannot miss work unless you work at a slow/casual place because it's an inconvenience. If you are sick you either go with a mask on to prevent your sick breath from spreading (why you may see a lot of masked nips in crowd videos) or apologize profusely if you have to skip. Pretty shitty but that's how things are.

Dishes take a minimum of two different ingredients to make, meaning you need 800 at minimum, and you get between 1 and 3 ingredients per step. Each step is 3 stamina and each stamina is 3 minutes, so each step is 9 minutes. Assuming you get really lucky and can use up all your ingredients always, and assuming you get on average 2 ingredients each step, you'll still need 60 hours to get enough ingredients for 400 dishes. Your initial stamina is 5 hours' worth, so that's 55 hours to make 400 dishes.
In order to get enough, you'll need about 2.26 ingredients per step, which isn't that much luckier than average. However, you also need to be lucky enough to be able to use all your ingredients, which basically isn't happening. So really, if you want the early clear, you better be ready to spam drinks or roll for tie ups.
Which reminds me, the early clear is a tie up that increases the amount of ingredients you get each step and dishes you can display at once. Other tie ups increase stamina (max 550), popularity cap (max 200), displayed dishes (max 10), cooking points obtained (max +67), and ingredients obtained (max +13).

As of right now, Fairy Doll isn't worth your time because they have staffing issues or whatever, so there aren't updates. The chibi faces are cute though, and the game mechanics/features are interesting enough to keep playing, while still being casual enough so you can keep your characters busy if you don't check often.AMB pls get your shit together soon and give us new stuff;_;
Most of us play MCC, which is relatively fair if you want to be a free player. It's fun in terms of dialogue, interaction with others, etc. The events take the most effort because while the other games have increasing max stamina limits until 16 or 24 hours, MCC's remains the same, such as this current one which requires checking on every 3 hours. But I do recommend this game the most.
Play AB if you're into raising male characters. They have the best gacha system where chances to get rares are boosted before being removed, and you're guaranteed a super rare after getting enough points. It's likely the most lax game because it's difficult to find people with that poor, unfinished friend layout. If you don't interact with anyone, few people will interact with you. I mostly just play for the events because the random NPCs are highly entertaining and probably the best out of all these games.
DG has Live2D and is more on the lewd side. The art is the most detailed/close to realistic, but the chats and personalities are very dry. Game features seem a bit limited, but it's still very popular. Trying to rank in events is brutal.
