Starting a 6 player game. 1 Western Europe, 1 Central Europe, 1 Eastern Europe, 1 Middle-East or Africa, 1 Indian, 1 Asian.
Point of game is player wars later. So all player nations will be given boosts at the start(If needed) to get to that point earlier.
What are your opinions on strongest choices for all those areas? Based on above, main factor is national ideas, not starting land. Right now we are leaning

hello guys! i just downloaded victoria 2 and all the expansions. i was pretty excited since i heard that it is one of the most complex strategy games ever, with a phenomenal industry and economy mechanic.

i decided to start as albania and have a comfy isolationist game where i would just industrialize and reform my country.

however, i must have encountered some sort of bug. the only profitable type of industry is LIQUOR FACTORIES. i looked some guides and acted accordingly. i invested in input/output/throughput technology, encouraged capitalists and built railroads. i looked on the trade screen and took note of what is under heavy demand and what is not. i tried several different industries, arms, ammunition, clothes, glass. all of them failed. but the LIQUOR FACTORIES are the only ones that stay strong. i am not even that mad, this industry is invincible, keeps employed 20% of my population and keeps those taxes coming, but it seems too easy. all i have to do is build LIQUOR FACTORIES and upgrade them. any way to fix this rare bug?

World of Warcraft has a ton of mountains, the other vaporware warcraft mods ( Lordaeron Troll Wars and Warcraft Kings ) didn't really have this and pretty much just threw mountains wherever they looked nice, you could walk straight from Arathi Highlands to Hinterlands to Ghostlands in Troll Wars for example.
