I stood next to high dragun and emptied like 500 bullets of alien engine with dmg up passives. I had heavy boots and 6 blanks and after the endeavourer he had taken like 1/3 of total hp. Does high dragun have resistance against it's damage? Shouldn't that deal a lot more damage? Considering like 10 ammo kills all the big enemies of the game.

In case ya didn't know, you can get Lead God through Boss Rush, even though you don't get the chance to actually pick up the 5th round.

It changes the achievement from "Flawless the boss on all 5 floors" to "Flawless the Dragun".

And the unlock from it is insane. Slows time down to about half what it is when you're switching weapons when ever you stand still.

So just a warning here, I died at 2-1 L1 due to a massive shitstorm of impossible quantity. There were at least 8 of those guys from Y.V.'s mansion and 4 buff gators in 1 area. I don't think many people will get past the lil hunter fight though, massive shitstorm there too. Every enemy in the level is in 1 area. Have fun with the NT daily if you do it.

The adjective good doesn't even begin to describe the game. It's incredibly polished game in many aspects but it's also really hard game. If you get discouraged by hard games (this game requires fast reflexes and nerves of steel) it might not be the game for you. But if you fight through the unfamiliarity of the game it starts to reward you with exciting discoveries, bad ass weapons and combos. I have over 1k hours in Isaac and I have enjoyed gungeon more so far. It might not have that much re-playability but it's so challenging you'll be playing it for a long time.

And a lot of it is "okay" instead of "terrible" because Gungeon wants to be a schump Roguelike.

Gungeon isn't polished for shit. Instead it got very lucky with its design choices.
A obvious example is that you don't really have any form of resource managment, either the RNG screws you over and give you Health when you never get it, or it keeps giving you normal guns.

Just got my first glitch chest. Cool stuff. Not nearly as hard as the rumors led me to believe. "Double Beholster" my ass, they are toned down considerably. Slower bullets, shorter laser that gets interrupted that also cuts off halfway through and restarts, they can destroy each other's missiles, and probably just less amount of attacks overall. They do seem to have 100% health so if anything it's a long fight. Don't think I could flawless it anytime soon, but also I wouldn't die to it.

Got 7 armor, more health drops than I even had max health, like 5 ammo drops (and I only had 3 guns lol), and 8 guns. Including but not limited to: Black Hole Gun, A.W.P., my first Yari Launcher, and my first Gunther.

Shame it skips the whole floor, but you get far more than any floor could give, even considering I couldn't get a master round.

You can do the floor it spawns in, yes, but it takes you to the next floor and the whole floor is just that boss. It spawned on floor 2, I did it all, boss included, then opened the chest, took me to floor 3, killed it, and then straight to floor 4. Not sure if he's always in floor 2.

Gonna start implementing a crown-type system for this mod. Wasteland Kings didn't have crowns, which opens the door for me to try something slightly different. I'm not gonna get into the nitty-gritty, but the idea is to make it so that players have to bring a fragment of a Proto Statue to 3-2 that destroys itself when you get hit, but also prevents damage for that hit.

Pretty much all you have to do is get used to using the shield in short bursts, and make good practice of clearing out safe areas to teleport to in a pinch. Gamma Guts helps a lot in that respect, since it kills anything you might teleport into. With some practice, it becomes one of the best Throne Butts in the game.

Juggernaut helps keep up the momentum with teleporting. It's one of the reasons I suggest using them together, since it feels odd to come to a complete stop when you're using an ability intended to move you far away.

Does the banner saga count as a rogue like? or is there a different general for that?
