Think I'll start a new character. Should I go INT? Never done an INT-heavy character. Or Pyromancy, for that matter.

What were the rising platforms in Cathedral of the Deep for? I thought they were bridges, but only one of them is.

And is there a way to enter the balcony above the first giant? It's above the path you rush through when you first encounter it and below the greatsword knight guarding the divine gem. I can see it having a large open door, but haven't found a way to reach it.

That's not even an endgame meta level. Anyone who plays the game normally (doing pvp/co-op, farming items they want, etc.) is going to be 80+ by the time they complete the game.

Not to mention that it's impossible to make a complete build at something like SL60. You have just enough points to cap a single scaling stat and get a bit of health. There's literally no points left for End, Vit, Att, or other stats that might be needed to meet the requirements for weapons/spells.

How i'm supposed to go down the lake ? I dropped down and survived with a sliver of health. Then i went and read the wiki and the skeletons are supposed to trigger the bridge and make a ladder, but that never happened. There were 20+ of then at the same time and nothing. Even i went on the way back (Wolmir side to the other side) and it didn't trigger, but i walked instead of jogging.

In any case, is the Lake supposed to be really that small of a area ? I guess it's to mirror the Lake from DaS 1, but still kinda awkward compared to the size of other areas.

So I might be totally behind you guys, I only just started Lothric Castle but I think I figured out some Deepest Lore shit.

We know from DaS 2 that Giants turn into trees. Then we see hollows becoming trees as well, in Lothric High Wall. Later, as we near the end of the game and the Dark Sign appears in the sky, Lothric's skies are filled with the Tree Hollows majestically soaring around in the sky.

Also, throughout the entire trilogy, turning into a Dragon is treated like the most Above-it-All thing humans can do.

So, what if the natural order of the world is for Giants to turn into the great Archtrees, and for Humans to become Dragons, after the process of fully hollowing? Like once both Fire and Dark are gone, you just go back to the whole greyscale world all over again?

I think its because the boss actions have to be sent from the host to you since its actions are chosen on your side, with a shit enough connection you never get any signals to attack and just some basic tracking of where the boss is.

Your attacks are client side so aslong as you hit your hitbox it counts

I don't know how the soft cap work, but my vigor is at 27 and the last point gave me 35 health, now it gives 17, there is only light roll and heavy roll with the heavy being at 70% weight.

I'm still to mess up with cuckaster builds, but from what i've played 80 or 90 is the sweet spot for melee. Enough health, stamina and str/dex, you sacrifice some points for whatever utility spell and that's it. Exactly like previous Souls.

if you have an amd turn on open GL triple buffering, i was a 20 fps increase in most areas and can lock at 30 fps on a his r9 270 at max settings in every area, except when looking over at an entire level like right after catacombs. and in those cases turning to low gives a 5 fps increase

I made a Luck build.

Using Anri's straight sword I'm doing fucking billions of AR with the ridiculous straight sword moveset, and if I switch to a bleed weapon like Carthus Curved sword, anything that can be bled is in serious trouble.

Anri's also heals you albeit slowly, and has the blessed modifier. It's a pretty based weapon.

You can also put a shit ton of points into vig end and vit, because luck is the thing it scales best with.

Has anyone figured out what the thresholds are for which talisman is the best to use?

For those of you new to Dark Souls 3 and haven't played a Dark Souls game before, use Undead hunter charms on chests that you have observed to be mimics. It makes them open their mouth and allows you to get the items inside without fighting.

Mimics in DS3 have a pretty stronk grab attack and its much easier to just hunter charm 'em and grab the item.
