Compared to Bloodborne's it IS shit. I don't know why they didn't reuse that considering they didn't have a problem reusing everything else.

What are some of the complaints you have about the game /dsg/ ?

1) Weapon-memory or whatever the fuck it’s called ruins matchmaking, for the sake of few twinks.
2) No sin-system and no blue-eye orb.
3) Blue Sentinels and Darkmoons being the same covenant
4) Poise system. While DaS1 system had it’s issues like poise-stabbing, the new poise-system favours the one with the faster weapon.
5) Way too many references to the previous games and it makes the game feel like it has no content of it’s own.

Hate to say it but you're probably too high SL, apparently most people are 20-25 at Road of Sacrifices. If you have a weapon upgraded higher than +2 or +3 that could also be a problem, even more so if it's a boss weapon that's highly upgraded.

My single biggest complaint is the jerkiness and floatiness of the player-character's animations.

Seriously, this is second only to Dark Souls 2 in being the worst player-character animations in the franchise.

The player strafes and walks and moves around WAY too fast. It makes him look so jerky and floaty.

The roll in particular is the most weightless I've seen in the series.

Bloodborne had it perfect with the walking and running, which is ironic because it's the faster game, yet it's not jerky or floaty.

Why are they geared towards specific types of players instead of useful for everyone like Red Eye Orb, 0 req Gravelord Sword Dance, Dragon Stone?

Max level I got in Dark Souls 1 was 490 and I was basically a NEET so I played a shit ton for a long time, granted I did waste a lot of souls on other shit. I do wish there was a cap at SL 200 though. Pass that all builds devolve into the same shit

Played through the game with Knight/strength build and started as a thief so that I can make a dex build. This is way fucking harder to get started. I died 3 times to the first boss because apparently I needed to learn parry timing.

What is a good Dex weapon that I can get relatively early? Starting dagger is pretty great but I desire more reach and probably don't want to use a katana.

PvP the hit boxes on str8fag swords and thrusters are just so beneficial to the way the game moves.
Miracles are good only thing everyone bitches about is lightning spear is like a shotgun spell. Hit someone at point blank and it does fuckhuge damage. Just at range it blows which is counter intuitive.

All those other weapon types can work in PvP just gotta become a master!

How do I kill anyone with UGS in pvp? I can never get anything more than one hit because of how good rolling is, then they run off and chug.

Meanwhile I get stunlocked by straight swords with full armor on.

I'm not sure, but a good thing might be to not dodge towards them because of the lingering flame damage. At the charge attack you can dodge towards them and get some safe hits in.

I get FROM can't make online work properly but this is fucking stupid. Jab attacks have 360, 6 meter degree damage circle around the player and normal swipes have at least an extra 2-3 meters added to the weapon length.
