Well, this is an MMO and it's pretty natural for devs to want PvPers do some PvE and vice versa. It's pretty much to add some variety to the game just so people wouldn't get bored and burned out so fast. It's not necessarily a bad thing at all, hell I'd say it's the right thing to do.
However, when it's pretty much mandatory to PvE a lot for some crucial skills, that's when things go wrong. There's HM levels too. They're not that big of a deal right now, though it kinda different for each class. In the future you NEED to have high HM level due to HM skills requiring a ton of skill points. Any new player is going to be in ridiculous disadvantage when he doesn't have access to crucial skills, let alone high enough HM level even if he had all the skills.

so i was just doing misty woods dailies for soulgems and encountered some level 43 cerulean lyn faggot who then attacked me, figured it'd be an easy kill but for the entire fight it just said "resist resist resist" everytime something should've damaged him. other players joined in and he slowly killed all of them while being invincible

Fuck PvPing in this game as a warlock. Absolutely fuck it. Double the effort for half the reward, all the other classes getting good shit with their new HMs while warlock gets something that's useless until we get ANOTHER HM skill as well. The only good matchup we have left is destroyer which is still "make a mistake and you get 100 to 0'd ggez"

The balance is so ludicrously broken and the western meta revolves entirely around "Run away and wait until my big cooldowns are back up." If the enemy is a LBD this is all they fucking do, no variation, no difference, and it fucking WORKS because of how poorly designed this shit is. The balance doesn't get better either, it's the same god damned fucking shit in korea.

Fucking gooks cannot into balancing this shitty game. Fucking western team cannot into stopping hackers and bots.

Fuck PvP. And fuck PvP as a warlock in particular.

Fuck it all.

For me its how unfun it is to lose to some classes. Most of them its like oh alright I see what I did wrong and I can improve on that. But others its like oh look they are just doing this same bullshit and countering it is half luck half skill and I have to put in way more effort to win than they do.

That said I still like watching other people pvp, just not doing it myself

Class imbalance is the highest it's ever been and it's only going to get worse. I may be butthurt but I'm entirely right when I say with the current way things are going this games PvP isn't going to fly in the west. Not by a long shot. Just you wait until everyone has everything and, surprise surprise, the imbalance is still there and ludicrous.

The gooks can't into balance in the slightest and the western team is so incompetent and money grabbing that they don't give a flying fuck about trying to fix the issues.

Win traders on the ladders? Hurfdurf lets make more shirts. Hackers and bots in arenas? I think you'll find gameguard is working fine. Having arena starts teleport you into the arena so the slower loader is already in an aerial when the match starts? A+ design.

Fury is all your resource back and then some, with 100% crit chance and bonus crit damage in addition to 2 seconds of immunity to everything and then a further 4 seconds of immunity to all CC except knockdown.

Perserverence is a second tab on a slightly longer cd that also makes you invulnerable for 6 seconds.

Fury just seems stupidly broken.

I did that and it didn't work. Running away when I have the triangle on me doesn't do anything, they still nuke me to death from like 15m away. I do run away from them when the thrall starts casting yellow AoEs though(which I assume are buffs?)

It's ridiculous, this fucking class pulls big damage numbers out of its ass. I thought they were vulnerable when the thrall disappeared but they are still able to nuke non-stop. And I don't even know what their Tab looks like. It's like their Tab, F and SS all have the same animations.

Thing is they now don't have self healing out the ass and are extremely fragile. Their damage is all highly telegraphed and easily avoidable and once you've got their escape theirs absolutely nothing they can do to stop you going ballistic on them.
