I used to be the parry king in Lordran. Parry so fast that you wouldn't even hear the sound. It'd just go into a riposte immediately.

Now I'm getting dunked on since they changed the timing. How do I get good at parrying again? I miss being the parry king of Lordran.

Is automatically getting summoned the only way to level up in the Darkmoon Covenant?

I know the Silver Knights have a really small chance of dropping the ears, but is there any other way? Like, can i use the Red Soapstone? Or kill invaders in my own world?

Fanservice in DS3 is a character who is also a Catarina knight, but whose story goes in a completely different direction from Siegmeyer's. It isn't that there aren't tons of people to invade--Red Eye Orb is instant in most places--it's just that autosummoning is bugged as fuck.

I'm not sure if everyone knows this but rolling into people with the thorn armor causes a small amount of damage. This is incredibly useful in pvp and I don't know why you'd use anything else

What should I infuse this thing with? Choosing between magic, deep, and fire.

I'm using a sorcerer build, so I figure the magic infusion isn't too useful because of redundancy. As far as fire/deep, I just have no idea what is the more common weakness for enemies to have.

There's also raw, but that seems bad.

(side note: should I even be using it at all? recently stopped using the crystal sage rapier in favor of this)

I just noticed when I was fighting the Champion today. The attacks that I was able to parry were all when he was holding the weapon with just one hand.

learn to parry his flaming sword attacks, it takes a while to learn the moveset but once you do it's pretty easy.
