Why are Pyromancer builds considered any good? They need scaling from too many stats to even to start to come online not to mention the offensive spells can be easily dodged.

/dsg/, I need some help. I'm playing the game on my rig @1080p medium-low settings and I get very unstable framerate. We're talking dips from 60fps to under 20fps. Is there any way to make it go smoother? I don't mind locking at 30 until we get a patch if it means I can play a stable game.

search up a file in your steamfolder named GameOverLayRenderer, check the .txt file and see how big it is. Mine is nearing 1GB (a fucking text file) after 10 hours of DS3..it turns out it's being spammed with several hundred lines per second when youre playing and thats whats causing the stutter every now and then. Remove GameOverlayRenderer.dll and GameOverlayRenderer64.dll from the folder and the problem should be solved.

Made friends with the greatbow giant and he was blasting on everything I brought near the birch in settlement and swamp, but for some reason he's shooting at me again in the area outside cleansing chapel with the maggot guys. Why tho?

Is it worthy to launch the game without installing the patch?

Opinions then. I like that EVERY fight is not just the same combat scenario consisting of pressing roll and wailing on 1 enemy. Preparing with elemental res consumables, rings and using the environment is fun IMO.

1. You can try and distract them one by one until they all walk in a tight group and run past them
2. You can pick up an item from the corpse, it will let out a scream and attract all of them. All you have to do afterwards is get the fuck out of that room asap after triggering this event.
