Anyone else a bit disappointed about how easy this game was?
The boss designs were a lot more like Demon's Souls in that they were more gimmick-oriented and not WALK BEHIND BIG SWORD GUY AND HIT HIM which I really appreciate, but I feel like none of them had enough health or that they were too easy to figure out or something.
Every single boss only took me a max of 3 tries and most of them were dead on the first fight. I don't know if the game was just easier or if I've just played WAY too much Souls all ready but I was hoping for more of a challenge from what is probably the finale for the series.

What are good places to farm large titanite, chunks, slabs and scales?

So are greatswords shit?
I really like how this Executioner's Greatsword looks, even if it is a bit generic, though I'm not sure if it's worth it to rank up or not.

This is more like. After several hundreds, possibly more than thousand hours spent with these kind of games it's not really surprising that people only have to get accustomed to new enemy/boss timings and that's it since they already know all the other shit by heart.

When do I get chaos infusion? When do I get a fire scaling weapon? This fire longsword isn't going to cut it forever.

There is no decision to be made. You can't link the fire. That was what Lothric was supposed to do. You killed Lothric aka the only person who could kill the Flame in addition to the other Lords which were supporting the Flame.

The First Flame is defending itself because you just killed everyone that had a chance of saving it and then show up at it's doorstep. You got rused. The game was rigged from the start.

Because it's easier to balance 20 weapons than it is 200. So From picks a dozen or so weapons and actually spends time balancing them and making them useful for their trade-offs. I'm on my first playthrough right now, wondering with what weapon I should go. I intend on doing a quality build, so I'm looking for a quality-scaling straightsword.

I have both, a lothric sword and the regular longsword, and a refined gem. I suck with theorycrafting, though, so can someone more experienced tell me, which will scale better if upgraded to +10 refined on a 40STR/40DEX build?

Too OP, consider that there would be faggots with blessed weapon in each hand + ring + miracle whose regen rate would be somewhere in the vicinity of 50HP/s and opponents would be basically unable to do anything about it.

Okay I got a problem here with running DS3/performance, my specs are really shitty but I know that it's possible to run DS3 on low with mild problems(I even saw a guy recording shit without much performance problems), however to me it's just clusterfuck and unplayable experience, on "brand new nvidia drivers" my performance is around 10-15 FPS however it was somewhat stable even in fact on vast areas I had some processing at times, I heard that to improve performance you need to have old drivers, 314.22 or something, I installed them, had problem with launching a game(crash after load) but somehow managed to get through, FPS seem to be much better however game freezes almost on every turn and keeps processing even if I just run in circles in firelink shrine, any ideas how to fix it besides buying new PC which I obviously can't afford right now?
Specs are: CPU E7600 3.06/3.07 GHZ, Card : GTS 450, 4 gb RAM.
Any kind of help would've be nice, I struggle over this game like for 20 hours already and are pretty much desperate.

Broad, Long, Lothric, and Asotra's are all godly for 40/40 refined builds play around with all of them and see which one you like. I personally went Broad for my quality build.

Holy fuck invading the first two areas with the White Phantom Ring as a mound is beyond hilarious. Some motherfuckers just let me walk up and kill them the absolute madmen.

Tell me about it. My last 5 invasions were either 1v3 or the host just hides the whole time. I had some guy stuck near his bonfire, and of course he starts spamming every phantom summon he can find.

Early game is:
Carthus Flame Arc + whatever Raw weapon you wanna use. Try and rush 30/30 INT/FTH as fast as possible, as it'll make things easier because you're going to have to pay out the ass for your Pyromancies.

Endgame (PvP):
Chaos Fire Orb (freeaim fuckery), Sacred Flame (one-shot grapple), Profaned Flame (for chasing runners).

Make sure you have the Swamp Ring, Fire Clutch Ring, and Witch Ring and 30/30 INT/FTH at the least for optimal damage.

There's also a spell called Chaos Bed Vestiges that you can make from the Old Demon King's soul, but I haven't checked it out yet. Might be a better version of Chaos Fire Orb.

yes, and since you can pop embers anywhere, prepare for most hosts to have summons, since that's literally the only reason to go ember anywhere outside a boss room.

You'll get the odd solo guy in ember form, but that's only people who coop or just beat a boss.

Damn, Id idn't think Bloodborne could be topped, but I just beat DaSIII and this is better than it. I cannot fucking wait for the DLC.

Is there a dedicated dueling area where me and my friends don't have to go to such effort to just 1v1 eachother? So far I've had to be the host in an area where I can summon people, have my friends put down red signs and even when I can see them/summon them they appear in some random spot in the level instead of on their soapstone like regular phantoms do. To top it off their estus is cut in half (not like that matters much) and I'm pretty sure their hp is normalized while I get to retain my embered form. Also I can be invaded by randoms which disrupts our dueling.

I don't even care if you don't get souls or rewards from dueling, I just want to be able to fuck around with friends without having to jump through hoops.

Watchers fight was insanely enjoyable and unique. Felt like a battlefield between normal watchers and mad ones where you're just a little shitstain compared to them.
