Which one is overall better, Farron Greatsword of Wolf Knight Greatsword?

So, semi-new player, finished DaS1 a while back but I was pretty shit, didn't really know what I was doing.

I'm really trying to pull myself away from relying on shields with DaSIII, or to try and avoid relying on them, mainly using straight swords or greatswords.

How retarded is that? I'm aware almost anything is viable if you're good enough. I just figured it'd be a bit less boring than sword and board-ing through the entire game.

There's a QT waifu in a cage down by the guy with the huge hammer who says she can't be a fire keeper, but the cage doesn't open from that side. I've looked all around the area where you fight the fire demon, which seemed like the obvious place for an entrance, but I couldn't find anything.

Just had the broest coop with some dude named Chalky93. He helped me all the way through from the third flame in the swamp to the abyss watchers when he had like 5% health remaining. He actually managed to survive until we got the abyss watcher second phase down to like 20%, and I was able to finish him off myself. That guy was badass, he only died from residual fire damage through his shield.

Can I transfer pirate save to legit game?

I can't summon people for shit for some reason, it will work a quarter of the time but the rest of the time it will say that it's unable to summon the phantom. I can get 1-2 after 10 minutes while it takes other people moments after summoning me to get someone else.

What's the deal?

I can't be the only one irked by the sheer amount of fanservice they put in the game.

I'm expecting to get an explanation as to why previously dead characters got reincarnated after millenia before the end of my playthrough but still, it feels really lazy

I have a Dark Sword + 4 that does 161+70 (231) damage and scales C/D with STR/DEX

Infusing with Heavy Gem gives me 152+82 (234) damage and gives me A/- scaling

Infusing with Sharp Gem gives me 150+84 (234) damage and gives me C/C scaling. (Something interesting to note is that for some reason the C ranking on STR is red, as if it's somehow worse than the C STR ranking it already has)

Infusing with Refined Gem gives me 144+99 (243) damage and gives me C/C scaling. (Now the C ranking on STR is blue as if it's somehow better than the C STR ranking it already has)


It's ALL THE SAME DAMAGE, is there any reason to pick any particular one? Shit just doesn't make any sense

Haven't seen it so far. The Firekeeper is most likely a unique NPC model though, rather than being a Player Character model with items equipped, and so I'd doubt it's available.

What's your favourite part of a Dark Souls 3? For me it's fat rolling through a poisonous swamp. I LOVE that shit, can't get enough. I'm kinda salty they don't include TOXIC swamps instead of simple poison. Toxic swamps filled to the bring with slugs who block your fat rolling is a wet dream of mine to be perfectly honest familia. Also, fuck creatures and dudes with infinite stamina. The shit is this, I just got attacked to death in Irrithyl, they just kept spamming and spamming their shitty attacks, couldn't even heal.

Darkmoons seem pretty gimped/lame compared to previous iterations. They are essentially the exact same as Blue Sentinels. Can't even invade the guilty in this game apparently. Hard to get summoned for anything to get the Covenant items needed to trade for shit like Darkmoon Blade.

But the person in charge of members of the covenant is the best new waifu.

Rosaria's is basically just straight up Dickwraiths except lead by yet another helpless waifu for people to jizz over. And in exchange for covenant items you can respec/change your appearance.

So I've been fucking around with the early bosses.

I completed the first couple bosses without summoning, then did a little summoning to help a few people out, when it kind of struck me that the boss fights are actually a lot more annoying and difficult with summons so far.

When it's you vs the boss you can usually easily predict how their targeting is going to be, but with summons they seem to switch targets randomly, actually making it a lot more awkward.

I'm pretty sure I was having synch issues as a phantom, but I dunno.

I found Bloodborne overall slightly easier than DaS1 and 2, but the first couple of bosses in DaS3 gave me shit. I always liked playing without using shields much in DaS1 and 2, so Bloodborne wasn't much of a fundamental difference to me, in fact it was even better suited towards my playstyle than Dark Souls is. (however I had a lot more experience, so that could be why Bloodborne felt easier)

The first few bosses of Bloodborne went down first time for me, but then i ran straight into a total cockblock on the vag monster. Whereas I died a couple times to vort and the dancer, I was probably playing badly though.

People seem to think DaS3 is easier than 1 and 2 though, so yeah I guess.

The only evidence to them actually being something inherently special is that all of them (outside of the Princes and I suppose that might be important) can do the phase 2 cinder shit.

But being a lord seems to be nothing more than being a very powerful being and either the world just grants it to them via magic or regular people decide they're worthy of being a lord of cinder.

You'll notice that all the lords were given the title doing something completely unrelated to linking the flame. Adlrich just turned into a strong monster and rejected the fire after becoming a lord, Yhorm became a lord snuffing out the profane flame, and the abyss watchers were granted collective lordship when they took their vow and drank of faggot blood. So whether they were just given fire powers or not I guess doesn't matter since the important take away is that they never linked the fire.

In fact prince Lothric was never a lord and he only becomes one posthumously. He never left his tower and tried his best to make sure nobody could get to him. His was entirely a case of "he's going to be born to be a lord" and him then rejecting his destiny. If you look on the throne it's not prince Lothric (which is his title in game) but rather King Lothric. Everyone assumed he would just go on to be king and be worthy of being a lord rather than a cripple little brother fucker who hates his fate (probably because of the serpents).
