My post was on the Fort Erus forward battlements, the night was quiet & the men were doing their rounds with vigilance.
Only out of ordinary report had come from barracks where two guardsmen had a drunken squabble, both were disciplined according to standards.
Just past midnight we received a request from eastern guard tower, to tell western low battlements to stop playing with their spotlights.
Now this mi'lord was odd since western low battlements in all my knowledge, did not have any spotlights, as there are no passage gates.
So I take with me a two of the guardsman who enjoy giving some boneknocks to any fools thinking their duty to the emprah is a joke.
Now this is where it all gets nasty, when we get to the western low battlements, all we find are 25 guardsmen, chopped in to pieces.
First thing I do is call for an alarm, then start rushing back to the central guard tower. Half-way there, we see the first flash of light, by the emprah it was so bright that for a moment I though someone had put a flashbang roight in front of my eyes. We still kept running, we guardsmen are used to flashlights. When we got to the central guard tower, I could not believe my eyes. All my men, all of MY lads, dead or almost. Chopped into pieces, bodies & parts lying around everywhere, and at the center of it all, there stands this fucking freak in some skintight suit. Mi'lord the thing looked human, but it definately was not and worst part, it was not alone. Before I could react, before I could lift my finger, Corporal -REDACTED- got himself split in half. Guardsman -REDACTED-, a fine lad, rushed to hit the lockdown, but the damn device blew up in his face.

Now the second freak to appear looked like them Eldar freaks, this one had a stupid mask on its face looking like it had a stupid smile on its face. It grabbed my by the throat and lift me in the air like a lil'kid. I struggled ofcourse, wanted to give these freaks a payment for what they did to MY lads. While hanging there I managed to take a good look at em both.
The first one, the bastard who stood amidst my dead lads, looked like human, but with no eyes, weird glowing eye like thingies on its chest and a horn on its head. Now this is gonna sound stupid mi'lord, but that thing had a sword of light in its hands. Sword. Of. Light. On its back a weird looking gun, looking like a Tyranids dick. It stood like a soldier, carried itself with firm steps & seemingly looking around, as if waiting for something.
The second one, the one who had its hands around my throat, boy did it have a figure, uh, sorry mi'lord, I mean it looked like a woman, with breasts, curvy hips n all that. It carried itself more like the fine noble ladies, graceful and slender. It did have some weird protusions on its legs, like armor of sorts. The helmet or a mask was weird, like I said before. On its back it had the weirdest weapon I've ever seen, with glowing spinny lights & floatin parts.
So as I hung there, running out of air as the freak squeezed my throat with relative strength, when suddenly BOOM! A Leman Russ, by the emprah a Leman Russ, straigh trough the tower wall, the east tower must've called the fort wide alarm into action. The freak let go of me in a blink, as soon as I the ground, I grabbed my gun and shared some payback to the distracted creatures backside, it twitched and kicked me in my guts, seems like it did not do much. Next thing is as unbelievable as the frikkin sword of light, the smiling freak seemed conjure a ball of dazzling light from nothing and when it threw that thing, by the emprah, I could not believe my eyes.

Milord, that ball of light lit up the night like a Hellhound and what is worse it started shooting these beams of light, atleast ten time thicker than your average lasgun. Leman Russ cared little of it, but the guardsmen to run after it, they got sliced in to pieces by them beams. Fire & explosion covered the place, Leman Russ lit up the hall. Then a flash & boom, this was the kind of flash not even yer battle hardened guardsman is prepared for, the kind that has you wondering whether you are already dead. When I started to see & hear again, the noise of battle was already moving away from me. Pulled my gun and hopped out of the cover, this time I was really shocked mi'lord. There was blood everywhere, guardsmen impaled into the wall by smaller blades of frikin light, the whole hall looked like it had been visited by the bloody grim reaper, stone pillars looked like they were cut in pieces, walls that had holes in them lookin like someone simply cut trough. Leman Russ, by the emprah, even the Leman Russ look like it went trough a cheese grate. I scampered forward trough all the blood & destruction, the sirens were blaring and the carnage seemed to continue elsewhere. It is then I saw the second freak again, standing in the middle of the couryard I started firing and the thing rushed towards me with impossible speed and... I guess that it knocked me out, should have been dead, should have died figting with the rest, avenge my lads. Yet here I am telling you a story mi'lord, story no one will believe. That is all mi'lord, nothing else to tell.

Pick Excal as your starter and Rhino for your second. There, you can clear star chart easily. Buy Braton (not MK-1) and use it until you can get Hek. Melee is strong for starting players because the mods are so cheap to level.

Level your damage mods (serration, hornet strke, pressure point) but don't touch those damaged mods which have cracks on them, it's a new player trap.
