Honestly, I think the only reason the Knight Class is so highly regarded is the shield you start with is decent.

I think the 15 points in VIT is more a waste than some of the other classes imo. I'm level 50 and I want to be rid of them and I can't.

Armour is nothing but a hindrance in this game.

Wearing rags gets you barely any worse damage reduction, but allows you to fast roll properly and escape attacks. Leveling VIT to get more armour is actually stupid. It's not worth it. Rapier spam that catches other people doesn't catch me because I have actual roll distance.

I beat shitters wearing full plate all the time with my rags and they get so fucking mad I can taste it. "BUH THIS GUY HAS NO ARMOUR HOW I HURT, I HEAL NOW FUG DIS".

10 int and fai is incredibly cheap for flame weapon. Knight starts with 10 ATT anyway, a spell slot it can't use because it has no int or fai. Again, a waste.

Deprived is much better for Quality imo. You get best buffs for free.

10 points in Luck > 15 points in VIT.

Rags gets you the same damage resist, but next to no damage absorption. Trust me, I was doing a lot of SL 120 pvp in the jap release, and people wearing rags usually took about 400 damage from my spear stabs, while people in armor took like 250.

I've played the game the last 3 weeks exclusively against nip shitters.

Roll distance will get you killed by every single rapier/straight sword user you come across if you're hitting the 70% threshold.

You will eat your 2 hits from their weapon, roll away to still be within range for their punishes and take another 2 hits as your roll ends. Enjoy it.

Since I switched to rags, I barely take much more damage, and I actually evade attacks now.

Don't expect double the PS4 versions performance if you don't have double as powerful a PC.

This game eats VRAM like a whore. Textures and such. Getting more frames while doing that means you need over 2GB on your card to be comfortable. 3-6 should be fine.

Also your hard drive needs to not be shit to stream the hefty gb's of textures in and out of ram to avoid thrashing and stuttering.

There's a reason VIT exists. If your a fag and you want armour, you should waste points out of your total and roll better.

I did that all the time against japs during the PS4 release.

You only get hit if they time your roll predictably and they punish it. Either that, or your internet is just garbage.

I'm not sure if it's a thing in DaS but I manually disable Tessellation on global settings. Games that do have it gain about 40% in performance by just getting ride of it.

The point is, at 70% when you roll, you are still within range to rapiers and straight swords. This is why they are the two single current biggest winners in pvp right now. Everyone is at 69% and being shat on by them.

At 25% roll distance, when you roll, it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to roll punish you. "Roll punish" doesn't exist as abject thought at that roll distance. Their weapon does not reach where your going to.

That's the point. Roll distance is incredibly more important than defenses and is the entire reason my win ratio has fucking skyrocketed to good as shit teir ever since I stripped down to the lightest shit possible.
