Looks slow as fuck. And not in a good operator way, either. If anything the current gameplay is closer to SWAT-operating.

I do wish you could move the hostage, though. Like, maybe have a guy who's special ability is to do it, or only let it happen after the attackers have breached the hostage room, so that you can't just move the hostage to that one room that's the easiest to defend every match.

i will admit that this trailer has better destruction, lighting, and character animations. however the core gameplay looks identical to what we got once you factor out how embarrassingly staged that whole video was.

I understand the whole hate for the head skin shit and its honestly really bad but like I don't see much of a problem with the charms. Granted I really fucking love the IQ charm so that might be why.. Like Rainbow Six Siege isn't that realistic considering when you take into consideration shit like all the french operators excluding Twitch having face masks which would IRL prevent them from dying from one shot directly in the face for most caliber guns

Plus we already have some fairly silly camos so bitching about weapon charms seems kinda moot when the elephant and fire skin were in the game since day one.

Finally the way this dudes suggest ubisoft go about what they should do is completely retarded. "Oh well they should like sell black EOD sights so if you don't like the olive" Like really dude no one fucking cares and obviously Ubisoft is just copying off CS:GO which also isn't surprising since gun camos have been in the game since the start as well.

It's videos like this that makes me wish Ubisoft put in complete customization into the game, even deeper than Battlefield server cancer.

I'd be 100% okay with it being private matches only, or if Ubisoft would run an experimental playlist to just test crazy shit, but I'd be all about it. It'd give the game some much needed replayability

You could just have the chopper always appearing and make the rappelling instant.

It'd be neat if the defenders could move the hostage mid-battle to fall back after the hostage room's been breached, and the attackers had a dude who could coax the hostage to make a run for it while the defenders are busy getting attacked.

Like, you'd station the hostage-receiver by a doorway, and then the team would bust in through the walls and shit while the hostage-receiver calls out to make the hostage start stumbling/crawling towards his position, hopefully with the defenders not noticing and stopping him with a melee attack because they're so busy repelling the other attackers. It'd potentially switch up the gameplay quite a lot depending on whether the dude is picked or not.

Yeah if there's more than two roamers you're doing it wrong. Also, you need to know where to be to flank properly, so don't fucking do it if it's your first time playing a map.

This would only work if you also restricted it to being inside the house, so you can't trigger an objective from the roof or through a window. Even then I only really like the hostage one, because the other ones makes it so that you can make the attackers the defenders by setting up a firing line with LOS of the target, which is just weird.

I'd be fine with a dude who only really shines on hostage-maps, really.

What if he had a sound-magguffin letting him call out to hostages as well as fake sounds in the environment, so he's got something to do on non-hostage maps? Making the enemy think he's hearing an attacker running on the other side of a wall? It'd probably be too OP... So maybe just fake sound-effects like planting a Fuze charge or similar, to check if an enemy is camping the window/doorway ready to shoot and to freak people out by making them think they're getting fuzed?

Buy a good pair of headphones, pay less and get better comfort/sound but more importantly durability. Then get a decent mic if you actually use one, and odds are it'll be way better than the gaming-headset's mic and not start shorting out because of shitty wiring after a year.

You don't need specially-made headphones for any game that's got decent sound-programming, and you're liable to have it get all fucky when it's badly programmed. You definitely don't need it for Siege, since all you need is regular headphones to be able to tell where someone is walking/shooting.

I actually have a semi-old pair of MDRs.
It's just that after testing, I failed to find any noticeable difference between them and normal stereo speakers. The headphones sound range felt more limited if anything.

So I'm basically trying to figure out if it gets better if I throw money at it or not.

Switching from the SWAT pistols to primaries will cause the primary sight to drop below center so you end up shooting high. You can temporarily undo it by bringing up cams but switching back to pistols will cause it to happen again

Well, objectively, not much.
It's recoil pattern is a bit annoying and it's relatively low RoF doesn't do it any favors, but it's completely workable. The R4C is just way better.

Personally, I do hate it's goofy long barrel and sounds.
